I've never given a 5 star to a place that is not a true 5 star experience, but you have to do everything in life at least once. As a former restaurant owner I can say that I appreciate what they are trying to do here.
Truffle pizza, probably one of the few in Napoli, was not worth it.
San Genaro is a v different and atypical pizza. Would I order it again? Probably at my fifth visit. But will have to return to try the traditional pizzas.
Top trick: They have a place where they sell pizza to go at half price and it's the adjacent place.
P.S. I really love how they have cheese in the dough.

Our apartment was in the neighborhood and seeing the waiting line and also a double priced menu for the restaurant, we decided to opt in for the takeaway option and it was the best choice ever! Pizzas here are amazing, you get yours 3-5min after you order and you can eat at the tables on the street. During our 7 days stay, we've visited this place at least 7 times 🤭 tried Margherita (5e), Fritta (7e), Rippieno (7e), San Marzano (7e) and all of them were perfect! Amazing crust and high quality ingredients, thanks for feeding us for a week, neighbours! 😁

I’m American so maybe I have a lower standard, but this was literally THE BEST pizza I have EVER had. I got the one with yellow tomatoes and basil, and I literally (not joking) have had dreams about that pizza since then. I will literally go back to Napoli just for this pizza (and Castel Elmo too, that place is amazing).

Probably one of the best pizzas I've had (including in Naples!).
The restaurant is charming, the staff super responsive and friendly and the vibe and food amazing.
One of the floor managers was amazingly proactive, from installing an umbrella when it started raining to hearing us talking about the food on other tables and bringing free samples for us to try...he was on top of things!

Very good pizza, so far the best we have during our stay. We tried many, but this was the best (for us). I just like their tomatoes.

This place is ♥ they have a lot of different kind of pizzas, with all sort of traditional toppings, everything is excellent, ingredients quality is incredible, service is quick and prices are honest. We got a pizza Margherita, a Pacchianella and a folded pizza to take away - all were cooked to perfection and tasted like heaven. They have the take away place and the restaurant with tables one next to each other. This pizzeria is in rione sanità, where Totó was born. Absolutely worth a visit if you are in this area of Naples 😀

We went out of our way to visit this pizzeria and we’re happy to make the trek. The pizza was the best we’ve ever had and the outdoor patio was very charming.

Only surprise was that sparkling water cost half as much as a pizza.

We went in the mid afternoon and were seated immediately.

It was our first day in Italy and we tried the $50 tasting menu. Everything was amazing and I couldn’t recommend it more! As Americans we loved that staff and service and they made our first day in Italy amazing. Compliments to the chef

Ate here two days in a row, it was so good. Well worth the money. The Pacchiannella and pumpkin flowers were highlights. Also a very strong champagne menu. The quality of the mozzarella in the salad was the only slight disappointment.

We had a delicious meal here but make sure to make a reservation before you come! They prioritize guests with a reservation so if you don’t have one, expect to wait. The service was exceptional as well!

This was our first time in Naples and we knew we wanted to eat the local (and original!) pizza. We've collated a bunch of pizzerias to check out but our hotel manager said his favourite (and the best pizza) was at this place. So we planned our meandering around Naples to end up here, and it's a little bit out of the way but very very worth the extra effort.

If you follow Google Map, it'll take you to the corner pizzeria which I think is for takeaway but they promptly showed us to the sit down area a couple of doors away. Still small and cosy; the waiters have big smiles and speak English, at least enough to explain the pizzas to us and to make recommendations.

We ended up with a margherita pizza as this is the most traditional and my wife insisted on it. I took the recommendation of their specialty and had a stuffed crust pizza called the San Gennaro. See the pictures - no use my trying to describe them.

How did they taste? Well, these are pizzas about 30cm (12in) in diameter. When they arrived, my wife said we over-ordered but at the end we over-ate instead! My wife's first bite and she said the cheese is thicker than the crust! My stuffed pizza's crust was delicious on its own, and the slices were super rich but balanced out great.

I should mention that there's a pot of basil on every table. And given how rich the pizzas are (tons of fior di latte!), we did add a couple of leaves to cut the richness and that also went very well.

They also recommended a couple of beers that we really liked. Enough that we were looking through the supermarkets for the brand but sadly could never it.

Both pizzas are probably the best we've every eaten. And that's saying a lot for two people who've eaten pizza in many countries (made by Italian chefs, michelin starred chefs, etc.) and who own a shelf worth of pizza recipe books!

Keep in mind it is €11 just to sit and drink their tap water in bottles. But the pizza is very very good. We got the Concettina. Would eat here many times in the future. Maybe the bad reviews are when it is really busy and the pizza gets overcooked. But we were here at 11:30am and the only ones. Lovely lovely.

Sooooo good!!!
We have had this pizza on our first day in Italy and it was definitely the best pizza in our trip!
So good, fresh and delicious. Just amazing.
There are many options, including dishes that are not only pizza, so it is great for the whole family. The seating area outside is beautiful and doesn’t feel like it is in the middle of the city.

Bomb af. Really really really good. Had upside down , it's a upside down pizza. It was Gooooood. Also had the salad with little pizza slices. Was amazing. The frittaya con Genevese was overly amazing. The caramelized onions on it were through THE ROOF. up there with some top dishes I've had. Best dough dish I've had.

Don’t miss this place! This place offers true Napolitan experience. It is located in a busy and loud area of Napoli, but the restaurant offers completely different atmosphere: beautiful interior, nice music and very friendly staff. This place pays attention to details, from traditional napolitan decorations to presentation of dishes and tastes. The menu offers variety of starters and pizzas. We recommend you to start with two starters per person and one pizza per person. All the ingredients are fresh and local, we never tried so delicious and full with flavors tomato sauce. Everything from the menu is “must try”! Prices are modern, don’t expect to find five euro pizza, this place offers much more! We had such a nice time, that we bought a restaurant merch (t-shirt) as a souvenir from Napoli! We can’t wait to go back!

While it might look like a traditional pizzeria at first glance, this place is actually full of inventive recipes. The pizza was among the best we’ve had — the one with yellow tomatoes was incredible — but the smaller dishes were also great. Friendly service and a great wine menu, too!

Very nice place in Quartiere Sanità with an internal garden that creates a cozy environment. We tried some fried appetizers, which were tasty and crunchy. Our main course was obviously a pizza, I personally tried the “Concettina”, which is very tasty, but also very abundant with lot cheese. We also had a “Pacchianella” which was awesome, you have to try it. Service was good and very attentive. Prices a bit more expensive than other pizzeria in Naples, but here you have a wider choice and better service

The place to get the most authentic pizza. Forget your previous experiences and get ready for the soft and balanced experience pizza should be. Located about a 6 min walk away from the Napoli centro, you cannot come to Napoli without enjoying and redefining your pizza perception here. The atmosphere is super casual and the wait can be long. Plan to arrive in between 3-4 pm for the shortest waiting times. You will be asked to put your name down and they will just scream when the table is cleaned and done for your. We waited for around 45 min, in the meantime, we just had a fritatina and a beer in the small venue, right next door. Service was fun and quick. While the American pizza is ruined for me, forever... i will treasure my experience ordering the margherita and the lemon pizza (just try it, the lemon is refreshing and not overwhelming). 🍕
