We always noticed the lovely smell as we walked through this garden - even though it was January. I love the avenues of towering palm trees and the island of green that it is.

A lovely park between the Cathedral and Normal Palace - we visited in December and it could not have been nicer, to include some live music.

nice park in the heart or Palermo with fontains, trees and flower. Even there are some old ruins around this area. Must visit.

Maybe it was because the pope was around the corner and everybody was trying to get a glimpse, but this park was really quiet when we were here. Tranquillity smack in the center of town.
