Towering fig trees (or banyan trees?). This park was open until 18:30 so it was a nice consolation prize for our kids when the seaside park playground was closed. We all marveled at the towering banyan trees and the branch roots. really fun and free park to dip into when walking along Via Vittorio Emanuele.

A beautiful park with charming flora, especially the famous ficus trees. A fountain full of swimming turtles will provide lots of fun watching them.

One of the most authentic and beautiful places of Palermo in, very likely, the most beautiful square of the city.

Scenic garden located near by harbour and the city. Tranquil to sit on the bench and enjoy the atmosphere. Local turtles

My favourite park in city center. A lot of benches to sit, amazing trees of ficus and fountain full of turtles, roses, orange trees.

Nice park for a wander & relax in the shade of unusual large trees. Some turtles in the pond.

Lovely spot to enjoy the garden and banyan trees. Definitely to be seen and savored. Lilac like flowers were in bloom with all their fragrance. A 150 year old banyan is the star. Stop and sit for 20 minutes to renew oneself.

Magnificent fig trees in a quiet well maintained garden in Palermo which is also near to the sea. A peaceful sanctuary on any day away from the hustle & bustle in Palermo.

The park is a peaceful place to visit. Here you can find a 150 years old tree ficus. It is also a good way to find shadow and relaxation in sunny days. It is a good place for kids also. They can find tortoises and fish in the area. Enjoy!

In city center, place where you can sit and relax with a book. Or go for a walk see the oldest and the biggest Ficus tree in Europe.

Loving magic place for its majestic trees (ficus magnolioides). This ancient square has been redesigned by Basile in 1864. I also love the fence decoration.

Beautiful city park where you can eat lunch and look at the scenery. There are also terrapins in the pond.

Cozy park, never too crowded, fun vintage market surrounding it on the weekend. Worth visiting to see (possibly) Europe's largest tree.
