Salewa Store Bozen / Bolzano

One of the best outdoor institutions I've ever been, I would give it a 10 if I could. People who work there are professionals in their trade, they use and test the equipment by themselves in their own area, they are so kind you get the feeling you are among friends. That's Salewa a jewel of the Dolomites, I did not expect nothing less than to be among a family of the best.

Fancy shop that you can find all equipment and wear for hiking, climbing etc.. Prices are a bit high but the quality is good

One of the best mountain store in the world! HUGE selection of products from Salewa, futuristic store design able to create an immersive experience. Every product from Salewa is well displayed, the staff is king and able to clarify any doubts from the customers. I particularly appreciate the "second life" section: great discounts on refurbished&certified Salewa products. In addition, a rental section is great to test the products before buying it.

Next to the store there is a great indoor climbing gym, and a nice bistro.

Do yourself a favor and stop buy the Salewa Store in Bolzano if you're passing by!

We visited the place for indoor climbing and some shopping. The place was alive but not too crowded and the staff was friendly. The walls are very well thought and the place has many regular fans as we noticed. Would definitely go back!

A really good local climbing gym just by the end station of bus route 18 (so don't bother with the train). Focus mostly on sport, but the bouldering area is really good with challenging problems. Grades ranging from easy beginner ones to at least 7c, and there's a campus board and pull up bars, etc. I did not have time to try the sport walls but they look very good and safety gear looks fresh. Changing, washing, and toilet facilities are good and there's a massive Salewa shop in the same building! Some of the area is technically outdoors, doubling the wall area in the summer time. 5/5, would climb there regularly.

Great climbing gym. Most routes are lead only. There are two lines with a self belay.
Comes with a boulder area as well as an outdoor wall and a natural like wall.
It is a very good alternative when bad weather prohibits climbing outdoors

This is not Just a shop. Here you can find the top technical mountain dresses, equipment for climbing, indoor and outdoor climbing wall. Amazing architecture. Nice bar / restaurant.

Professional staff which can advice everytime to make customer happy. Start prices are quite hight but always is possible to have a discount. Good location on the way to Garda.
