Il melograno

We had lunch there on a Sunday while visiting Turin and we quite enjoy it! The food was typical, local and well prepared, the athmosphere rustic and welcoming and the staff (I had the impression that was a family business) very professional, polite and competent. When we went it was pretty busy so I guess is always better to book the table in advance.
The prices are fair for the quality provided.
Do not expect huge portions though.
Recommended, especially if you visit Turin and want to deep into its culinary specialties!

Really enjoyed the experience of a meal at Il Melograno last night. Sara was a great host who explained the menu in detail for us. We started with Piedmontese beef steak tartare which was delicious, and then had a mix of mains - beef, duck and ravioli. All very good. The Barbera wine was lovely and great value. We would love to be able to return to Turin and go again!

This was a great find, impeccable personable service and the traditional piedemontese food was great. Felt very welcome and the view of the Mole Antonelliana was very nice.

Amazing experience! Truly have been defeated by great food 😋. Recommend to anyone who loves good wine and good food. Any English people on holiday here should not be afraid to try new things at this great restaurant where the staff are so helpful at explaining

Very lovely dinner, kind service with perfect attention, had a 3 course dinner (antipasti, primo, dolce) with wine for €30 per person.

Perfect place : delicious food and really nice “home-soul”service. Highly recommend!

Cordalità, gentilezza, cibo eccezzionale e servizio eccellente. Io e il mio ragazzo siamo stati in questo ristorante ieri sera e per mangiare cibo tipico piemontese non potevamo fare scelta migliore. Ogni piatto ci è stato descritto e spiegato, la qualità è veramente alta e la cordialità e gentilezza del personale è superlativa. Abbiamo passato una serata bellissima, resa unica non solo per la bontà e la qualità dei piatti, ma per il servizio nel suo complesso. Non potremmo essere più soddisfatti di così. Da provare assolutamente e da tornarci le prossime volte a Torino.

Ci siamo fermati per pranzo e ci siamo trovati molto bene! Il ristorante si trova proprio di fronte alla mole e ha un’atmosfera molto familiare e accogliente. Il personale è stato super gentile e il cibo (tipico piemontese) buonissimo! Lo consiglio assolutamente!

Sono tornata per la seconda volta in questo ristorante, grazie ad una prima esperienza che mi aveva già positivamente colpita tanto per la qualità dei piatti, quanto per la cortesia della proprietaria e per la calda atmosfera del locale. Non posso che ribadire queste prime impressioni, avendo sperimentato sia pranzo sia cena. Un must per chi ama la cucina piemontese nella sua modalità più versatile, e nella sua realizzazione più accurata.

Ristorante situato di fronte alla mole Antonellina. Sì potrebbe pensare, a torto, al classico ristorante turistico. Tutt'altro.

La tipica cucina piemontese servita con cura della tradizione e della materia prima. Un servizio veloce e attento, unito a prezzi onesti, completano il giudizio, assolutamente positivo, di questo ristorante.

Proprietario gentilissimo, ti guida nella scelta delle pietanze spiegando con passione la sua cucina.
Dagli antipasti ai secondi è tutto fatto con cura e ottimi. Si trova la vera cucina piemontese con piatti tipici.
L'ambiente raccolto e il servizio familiare hanno fatto sì che la cena (nel nostro caso) sia stata un'esperienza gastronomica che ci ha coccolato nel nostro viaggio a Torino.
Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo.

Piccolo ristorante che si trova accanto alla Mole. Piatti ben fatti e servizio attento. Molto buono l'antipasto con tutte le specialità piemontesi e deliziosi gli agnolotti.
