Borgo Antico Bistrot

A wonderfully-located cafe bar looking down the surrounding hills and even the sea far out. Foods are pretty good for a hyper-touristy place like this and the servers are great.

Loved this place. Great spot on the stairs, they had pretty Christmas decorations. Very good service. We had the puccia with fried veggies and cheese and it was amazing. Also a huge portion. Other items on the menu also looked very appealing, they have many traditional options and snacking boards. Very good vibes, would definitely come here again.

My husband and I visited Borgo Antico Bistrot and WE HAD THE BEST SANDWICHES. We ordered two Apulian pucces - Caciottina (eggplants and zucchini) and Cime e polo (octopus). The octopus was so soft and melted in my mouth and the combination of all those fresh ingredients with cheese was just perfect. We have tried other famous sandwich shops around Italy and we both agreed that Borgo Antico’s pucce was the best one. The restaurant also had a beautiful setting and an amazing view. It was a little windy when we were there and the staff kindly gave us blankets to keep us warm. Highly recommend this place and please try their Apulian pucce.

Great spot to have a fantastic aperitivo! I ask if they could offer us a vegetarian alternative and the result was amazing! We also tried the sandwich with the fried vegetables and was also delicious!

We have not tried food here as they close day time on Xmas day and open late in evening. The place is ok, seem good in summer. Good spot for picture

Aperitivo with a view in Ostuni? Its definitely worth to go and find this place! Service is good and for a little amount you have a very delicious aperitivo and good wine! I enjoyed my stay.

Wonderful food and drinks overlooking the sea. We tried the $10 pp aperitivo (which also comes in a vegetarian option), polpette, and a variety of items (too many to name without embarrassing ourselves).

The portions are generous, staff is engaging and friendly, service is fast (or slow) (whichever you prefer), the food delightful, and we didn’t want to leave! I can’t wait to come back here for a Spritz 🍊

A pleasant place to have a drink or a quick meal. Nice overlook of Ostuni and the Adriatic Sea. We enjoyed a great cheese and meat platter with a white and red wine before dinner. For us it was a good place to spend some relaxing downtime while touring historic Ostuni.

One of the best restaurants in the city! Various options in the menu, placed beautiful on a plates. Excellent place for a drink during the day. We had a small lunch with pasta, bruschetta and the highlight was beans pure with grilled peppers. It was so delicious!

Best octopus I’ve ever had! The food and drinks were unreal! They also weren’t too expensive with an aperol being €6. A stunning restaurant on a very cute street with impressive food!

Totally lives up to the hype! They have amazing platters, fries, panzerottini and drinks! Would definitely recommend going earlier in the evening, if you want to beat the crowd (and loooong wait times) but still beautiful nonetheless.

I am looking for a word better than delicious, amazing, totally the best, showstopping, original, never been done before....
Whatever that word is, THAT IS BORGO ANTICO.
We had such an amazing time, staff is super friendly, Speaks English and will give you advice on what to do/eat/stay.

Very nice experience! Prices are not high, tasty food and the location is unique.

Only downside (in the evening): high chance of waiting a few minutes before you have a table

On a sunny day, dining in those stairs with a fine aperitivo and drinks is everything you can ask for (with great panorama included).
Specially recommended is the Aperitivo for 2, you get a lot of apulian specialities...you just wash it down with some good drinks ;)
