What a pearl. If I could give it 6 stars I would. It was like entering a whole different world. The mixture of plants, flowers, ponds and art felt like walking through an adventure - where each corner had a new experience. The café at 'the end' was nice and cosey and relaxing. If I lived in the area I would come there everyday and get my daily Forrest shower and meditation.

André Heller's botanical garden in Gardone Riviera is an oasis of peace and contemplation. The arrangement of impressively beautiful vegetation and skillfully staged artworks was very exhilarating for us. We felt like we were in a paradise garden. The abundance of water, the dense greenery, the warmth and surprising views characterize the garden. One can occasionally see through cypresses, pines and palms to the waters of Lake Garda. We recommend the garden.

What a wonderful place. The garden is beautiful, the sculpture really enhances it. Lots of quirky bits, very clever ideas, just a joy to explore it. Kids would love this.

Great botanical garden with a very interesting layout. A lot of different areas. The water all over the parks makes it more interesting. Only complaint would be the closed café. There should be an option for drinks and snacks at such a location with this entry fee. Even in April.

Beautiful gardens to visit, near Saló. Lots of paths to walk and different areas to discover, also lots of sculptures which adds more interest. Car parking near the entrance - don't forget to pay for parking, or else you get a fine of €29.40 like we did... Also it's cash only to buy tickets, if you want to use a card for payment, you have to get them online, which is a drag.

Nice small botanic garden with interesting sculptures. There is also a small Cafe to get a coffee or snack and take a rest. There is a lot of shade inside the garden so you can also visit on hot days as it will be much more comfortable than outside.

Beautiful garden, definitely worth visiting! I really liked the sculptures, I think they spiced up the garden. Even if there were “only” plants it would be beautiful, but the sculptures were a nice touch :)

Stunning g place.
Takes a good hour to get around it.
Not really wheelchair friendly ic you want to see everything.
Stunning plants and the bamboo.... wow!!
Lovely ponds and waterfalls and little bridges.
A stunning buddha and the fish and turtles are amazing.
Worth the €12 per person.
There is a little cafe in there too.
Beautiful place. A must see

The Heller Garden was the only place worth visiting in Gardone on our ferry trip from Sirmione. A dull & nothing sort of place even the market on the promenade was lacklustre pleased we did not spend our 10 day holiday here we would have been bored to tears or alcoholics because nothing of any note except this really outstanding garden full of great specimens from all over the world & quirky artwork as well from some famous artists. Come to this resort to see this magnificent garden then make a swift getaway to somewhere with more interest.

Really amazing garden. When i was there it was very quiet, so wandering around this garden was very peacefull. Splendid selfmade icecream at the small bar. The only thing, the entrance price is rather high at 12 euro. But then again i prefer this then the screaming Garda land. If you like gardens, go visit!

Definitely worth a visit. Perfect for a little cool down on hot summer days. Over 3000 different plants and flowers. Lots of little ponds with turtles and kois. Awesome!

This is a place to see in your lifetime. Incredibly well created and maintained botanical garden with sculptures and lots of hidden paths and plenty to see.
You can follow the trail to each numbered plant or as we did just randomly explore as you walk around.
I wish my Mum was still alive for to have been able to see this.

It is always a joy to visit this beautiful garden, all year round (winter is closed). Nice walks, views and flowers - worth to visit.
A significant drawback are the entrances fees (12 EUR/person), which are very steep.

A lovely spot of colours and contrasts. Very nice and curate garden that seems to pop up out of nowhere alongside Garda Lake.

These gardens were stunning and full of sculptures and greenery. It’s worth being aware that you have to pay cash (€12 per adult) but we loved it and would say that the price could be justified. There is also a cafe and a small shop which sells tote bags and t-shirts!

This is a very nice garden...natural yet well taken care of. Even the kids liked it immensely.

We spent a good 3 hours walking around this beautiful garden.
The botanical diversity is astonishing.
