Lake Garda

Was very pleasantly surprised by this little gem. We were traveling with locals though so everything was the best of the best. Best croissants. Best seafood restaurant. Best pizza. Best pasta and this little tiny home bakery with the BEST CHOCOLATE COOKIES we've ever had. I bought 50 euros worth so I know what I'm talking about!

The city is touristy of course but not obnoxiously so. Everyone is friendly and we had no trouble at all.

All in all, totally recommend 👌

Beautiful. Went in the middle of the winter and it was extraordinarily peaceful and still charming! Bordered it all the way South in route to Bologna and saw amazing views for many Kms with beautiful little towns along the way.

We did a nice drive around the lake. Nice little towns to stop for food or drinks.

Great place with lovely places along the lake, close to both Verona and Venice. Trip up into the Dolomites a must stunning scenery.

Lake Garda is breathtakingly beautiful! I was there for a wedding that took place at a castle on the lake. The views were some of the best that nature has to offer. It was calm and serene. The shops along the boardwalk were fascinating. And it was easy enough to get around the lake, both by taxi and/or ferry.

One of my favourite lakes in Italy is Lake Garda. There are so many lovely hotels and apartments 😍 ☺. It is a lovely place to bike, walk, swim, etc.

Love ❤ Lake Garda. We come here every year, exploring all the towns, local cuisine, the Art & culture. Such a beautiful area .

Super spectacular place, mix from blue water, high mountains and beautiful cities

Mountainous and stillness of the lake at times. Great architecture in the towns that surround the lake.

Beautiful lake surrounded my mountains with stunning views everywhere you look. It is a very good mix between beautiful cities with nice arhitecture, sports options (cycling, water sports, climbing) and typical sea vacantions. You can go with the ferry or car around the lake from one city to another. You can find delicious, italian food everywhere.

It is probably one of the most frequent destination in north of Bella Italia. It also means big crowds during the high season. However, it is definitely worth a visit for a few days or more. Take a seat at one of the cute lakeside cafes and take in the draw-dropping vistas and relaxed atmosphere.

Simply enjoy La Dolce Vita! Stroll in the sunshine with gelato or eat plenty of fresh pasta and pizza.

There are plenty of tucked-away villages as well as an amazing natural backdrop of surrounding mountains.

The best place ever!

It is one of the most picturesque places I've ever seen in Italy. Located in such a peaceful and amazing area, it is a great place to relax!

I would like to drive around the whole lake some day…. There are several places where you can stop to admire the lake and the views. Clear water allows you to see the stones inside.

One of the most beautiful places I’ve been in Italy. The beautiful blue water, the small town and delicious food was such a great package and something so unique. Loved that it was super dog friendly, laid back and safe. It’s also not as crowded and touristy as say Cinque Terre. Would absolutely recommend as a place to stop for dinner by the water with some gelato and some light shopping and or to spend a nice relaxing weekend with your family.

Fell in love with this place the very moment I saw it for the first time. Although it is quite busy in august, I still loved it. So many things to do for everyone’s taste and pocket.

Unbelievably stunning! The views, the scenery, plus the beautiful towns... Simply amazing! There are even 3 theme parks around the lake! Mountains surround the lake, making for an incredible view! There are even cable cars! Just... wow! I have no words!

It’s so beautiful and amazing, there is a change for every city you visit here.
The view changes if raining, windy or sunshine.

Just an WOW effect.

The lake is really beautiful. But for the cyclist is heavy traffic and the bike paths aroumd the lake are advertised like big fake. You must drive a bike on normal roads with heavy trafic. It is the lay about 140 km bike paths around the lake. Be careful. There are some atractive photos on the internet, but it is only for photos.

I was very surprised how Lago di Garda reminded me of italian sea coast. I was just missing the scent of salty air, everything else was there. I highly recommend its visit, especially if you are a motorcycle rider.
