Friendly, competent, professional staff. We've been greatly served by Giuseppe, and if they are all like him... chapeau to the owner/manager. Food is delicious, local, genuine (and I speak as a local). The appetizers are delicious, they are the refined version of what you get at a local family lunch. We didn't have space for more that a taste of a wonderful primo di orecchiette con le cime di zucchine: perfectly made. The meat and the endless desserts are superb. They bring the essence of the territory. We have been indulged with amuse bouche all the way through, a great touch. Try to believe. It's fairly priced. The wine list is not very long, but again represents the best of the local production.

This was such a pleasurable experience. We had the tasting menu, incredible value at €40pp, and every. single. thing. presented to me was outstanding (and there was a lot). If I had to pick something which stood out, it was probably what I'd usually consider the 'finishing touches': the fig sorbet, sweet roasted almonds, the cassata dessert, homemade limoncello. Everything was perfect and balanced. The chef seemed like a sweetheart.

Incredible local produce, in exquisite compositions that highlight typical Italian flavours at their best. Excellent value for money and worth at least a 2 hour drive.

To me, one of the best restaurants in Puglia. With fresh ingredients, delicious dishes, and great value for money, it’s a must if you’re in the area.

Wow! I am not from Italy but have family there who reccomend this place and made reservations for lunch. Everything we had was amazing! I mean everything! And when I say everything I mean we had something like a 15 course lunch with a 5 course desert after. You name it, we ate it. Professional from food to service. Couldn't recommend higher. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Truly the best meal in our one month tour of Europe (with Michelin star restaurants included). Incredible value & exceedingly friendly staff. Would not hesitate to bring family or friends on the next trip to Puglia!

Loved every single bit of all the dishes. The combination of the authentic old cucine with a touch of magic glitter that makes you travel from past to present just to taste food that had been forgotten for years. A wonderful experience for whom wants to try real food of this area of Puglia.

As Michelin guide says about 3 stars' restaurants = "Exceptional cuisine, worth a special journey"!

BUT not to be mistaken Antichi Sapori is a great local trattoria and not a Michelin rest.

Anyhow the lunch we had was one of the best I had in the last year, everything is very fresh (farm to table - which in case is so true since they have their own farm 5 minutes walk from the rest.) and so delicious.

The staff is professional and friendly.
We had a farm visit after lunch which again was very good.

The only issue is that it's a small place so need to plan long time before the visit.

I came across this restaurant by accident while driving aimlessly through this part of Puglia. Nothing particularly alluring from the outside.

But what a surprise! I was treated to a dinner fit for kings. Delicious antipasti, too many to count and each different from the previous one were served without pause. This was followed by two different plates of pasta, and finally by a superbly prepared fillet, al sangue.

Despite having little space left I had to surrender to the wonderful assortment of desserts that was finally presented.

All this while being pampered by the extremely friendly staff.

Highly recommended.
