Stumbled upon this gem around the corner from the Grand Hotels Wagner and Palma. Quiet sidewalk and interior seating kitchen with great service and more importantly the best sandwiches we had in a week in Sicily. I kid you not... Fresh, bright and inventive classics with a twist, served on clever tiles. My travel partner said "We're coming back tomorrow..." That's saying something. Great menu available online. We particularly loved the mortadella burrata with pesto... Burrata on a sandwich? YES!

If you are in Palermo, Sicily DO NOT MISS this little gem. It’s right across from the hotel Federico II. The food is amazing with unlimited choices. Fresh everything and the bread is unbelievable.
It’s family owned which is another reason to support it.
You will not be disappointed. Take it from a former restaurant owner and picky diner, this is a keeper.

Visited twice, two days in a row after a week of meals in Palermo. Great flavors, great ingredients, and a nice environment.

What a great find on our stay in Palermo - the sandwiches are tasty, stuffed with delicious, fresh ingredients and the options are endless. So many incredible Sicilian and Italian products available too, and the wine choice was extensive! Can't recommend this place enough, the hosts were wonderful and we will be going back asap :)

A Putia is a wonderful little place. We asked them to make us a piccolo piatti and the made us a fantastic little snack with a couple of glasses of red wine, all from Sicily. Sausage, salami with pistachio, pancetta, lardo. Four different Sicilian cheeses, Primo sale, caccio caciocavallo, ricotta and goat cheese . All from Sicily. All were wonderful. Also an assortment of crostini and grissini and nice music. The perfect spot for a apperitvo.

After eating pizza, pasta and seafood for a few days, I looked for something else good to eat. We found this place with very tasty pannini, fresh ingredients and we were glad that we could quietly enjoy a glass of red wine next to it.
I didn't take a picture of the pannini because it was so good that I didn't stop until I finished it. But I took a picture of an interesting car from the location.

An absolutely fantastic experience. A’ Putìa has the freshest ingredients and a huge experience.

We went there twice throughout our stay in Palermo. Make sure you get the sandwich, it was sent from the heavens and assembled by A’ Putìa

A simply must visit for lunch or a pre-dinner wine and snack

Lovely place, super nice Staff and beautiful wine / food / delicacies. Doesn’t seem touristy but they’re so nice and speak
English. Prices are super fair!

Don’t let the “Grocery” name fool you. This a great local Sicilian little deli with fresh meats, cheeses and a wide selection of local wines from small independent wineries/vineyards. I had the freshest, tastiest and best sandwich I have had to date in Sicily.

After I finished the sandwich I went back and purchased a bottle of wine, olive oil, olive tapenade and some crackers for tomorrow night.

If you are in Palermo this is a must stop. #A’ Putìa

Loved this place. Great sandwiches and cannoli. We tried this place the day we were leaving and really wish we went before. We even bought the bread to go as it was so good. Highly recommend coming here.

Great experience! We didn't read anything about it before going to it, but it was a pleasant surprise. The caponata was exceptional! Great service always attentive and helpful while selecting wines.

The owner was very friendly and although he didn't speak a lot of English, ordering went very well. He also gave us a good recommendation for a local restaurant.

The sandwiches were delicious. Fluffy bread with a crispy crust and an assortment of local ingredients as toppings.

They also sell a variety of local product ranging from herbs and sundried tomatoes to Grappa and home made pistachio liqueur.

Food is fresh and absolutely delicious! Highly recommend if you are near by. I enjoyed the ensalata with avocado and salmon and my husband had a roast beef sandwich with tomato, arugula and Buffalo mozzarella 😋

We really enjoyed our visit to this place with my husband! Staff are really friendly and helpful. I highly recommend red wine from Etna mountain. The plater consisted of local products. Even my French husband, who is really picky regarding wines, enjoyed ☺

What a beautiful discovery. A very non discerning shop tucked away, with a polite owner who knows his food. He serves the best quality ingredients with a great pairing of wine. Must visit!

This is a wonderful spot to stop for some excellent charcuterie, cheese boards & great wine! The selection of foods is unique and the pairings are perfect. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and we would highly recommend paying A’ Putìa a visit.
