This is an amazing hotel!

Restaurant: we opted for half board. The breakfast was incredible. At dinner, you can choose between 3 menus. There was always a great option for everyone.

Spa: it’s an incredible, multi-floor spa with exceptional variety and cleanliness. The family area is separated from the adult area.

Skiing: The hotel is only a short walk from the lifts but they also offer an on-call private shuttle service. The nearest slopes have options for all levels.

We return to this incredible hotel every year and it never fails to exceed expectation. We are made to feel so welcome and it is like travelling home from home. The staff are so lovely and the hotel itself is faultless. We thoroughly enjoy our stays here so much so we have returned over 6x and will continue to. The food is amazing and really good value for money and the spa and facilities are a really nice amenity to have. It is a great location and is really accessible to the slopes as well as walking into town if you want to explore.
It is by far our most favourite hotel we have ever stayed in hence why we have returned so many times and will continue to. Cannot wait for our next stay!

I just returned home from a week in Val Gardena Italy. I was leading a group of 100+ individuals visiting from Canada partaking in an educational conference. We had been referred to Hotel Gardena (Gardena Grödnerhof Hotel & Spa) by local contacts.
Our administrative team did a site visit in early December to organize the details of our trip and confirm the facilities and accommodations were as anticipated. The hotel, director Roland Oberhofer and sales manager Alex Demetz were very helpful during this visit ensuring that all aspects of our planned trip were dealt with.
The hotel which is owned and operated by The Bernardi family is a hidden gem nestled into the mountains in Val Gardena. The views from all of the rooms enjoy stunning and scenic views of the Dolomite Mountain range.
When our group arrived after a long day of travel we were welcomed by the most attentive reception staff including both Elenas, Piazza, Anna, Silvia, Sofia, Simon and Matthias. Many of these staff members also provided conceirge services during our stay. They were most knowledgeable on the area, activities, dining opportunities and just about anything. If they did not have an immediate answer they researched the subject and report back. On our arrival our group was treated to delicious drinks and appetizers organized by the bar staff including Franz, Fabrizio and Stefano.

Once our group was well rested we were most fortunate to wake in the morning and were introduced to the restaurant staff which was headed by Walter and Luca. These 2 worked tirelessly over the course of our 1 week visit to ensure all of our group were seated and cared for during all of our meals, breakfast, afternoon hors d'oeuvres and dinner. Their attention to detail was unrivalled and they took tremendous pride in ensuring the delicious food prepared by chef Reimund and Hubert was presented and served in a white glove manner. Additionally, they were responsible for setting up and supporting our educational meeting room during our daily conference schedule. Walter most notably even oversaw the departure of our group at 4:30 AM and made sure everyone had a boxed breakfast to take on the road. All our dining events were supported by Sommelier Egon with his staff with excellent complimentary wine selections.

Many of our group were fortunate to spend time in the hotel spa which is beautifully appointed with various spas, pools and hot tub.

There were many children who accompanied their parents on this trip who enjoyed the "kids play area" appointed with arts and crafts, video games, ping pong table, wall climbing activities all of which were supervised by hotel staff. The kids did not want to leave this area which was open daily from 330PM. It provideed their parents with some time to spend on their own.

I would be remiss if I did not mention the housekeeping department including Olga and staff. Our rooms were cleaned beautifully each day without fail with all consumables replaced daily. Each evening we received a turn-down service which was a beautiful touch after a long day away.

The hotel is well situated in the village with easy access to all areas by foot including the 2 adjacent ski gondolas. Further the hotel provided free daily drop off and pick up service to those who fortunate to enjoy the ski slopes from all the adjacent ski lifts. This was supported by the in-house ski rental shop which was well appointed and immediately adjacent to the ski storage lockers / valet.
I would highly recommend a stay at this Relais & Châteaux Hotel if you are fortunate to visit Val Gardena. I hope to be able to return and visit again one day. I thank them from all of our group for the tremendous effort this advanced to ensure we had a memorable experience.

I cannot praise the hotel highly enough. It exceeded all our expectations and we had a truly wonderful stay there in June 23. The staff were so friendly and efficient, the bedroom was immaculate and very tastefully furnished, the food was delicious - we are still talking about the fantastic breakfasts! The swimming pool, gym and spa were a joy to be in, especially after a walk in the mountains. Even the children's area was large and full of exciting things to do. A beautifully run hotel and very worthy of its 5 star status. In fact I'd give it 6 stars!

Service and attention to detail was excellent throughout our stay. The professionalism and courteousness of the entire staff was exceptional. The facilities were very clean, beautiful, and well appointed. The spa was magnificent and we spent part of everyday there.
Of special mention was our experiences with the concierge/reception - who were always helpful; Alberto, the bar manager was absolutely exceptional - he was engaging, helpful, very friendly and informative. The staff at the restaurant, headed by Corado, and the manager made our stay memorable and we will definitely return.

The Dolomites are the Italian Alps. The hotel is located in a very beautiful area. We were able to walk around and find great restaurants and shops. The hotel is excellent. Surrounded by Gardenias all around. Naomi at the front desk was very helpful and make our stay just incredible!!!

It is an amazing hotel with a strategic location 3-4 mins walk to the downtown & its near the cable car. The view is breathtaking. All the staff are welcoming and very helpful.

Truly exceptional. The spa is sublime, the food is top level, but more than anything, the service is absolutely incredible. Every employee was a delight, friendly, accommodating and efficient. Special mention for Hannah in the restaurant, who was just lovely. All of the finishes throughout the hotel, and especially the spa, are extremely well designed. Little touches everywhere that truly make you feel special and relaxed. We are planning to come back for a full week, and will be bringing our friends. Book here, it is impossible to be disappointed

My husband and I walked past Gardena Grödnerhof Hotel & Spa after one of our hikes. We are staying in an air bnb nearby but decided to booked 2 nights at Gardena Grödnerhof Hotel as the weather hasn't been great. We thought of just chilling in this 5 star established and enjoying the hotel facilities.
We were not disappointed at all. We had such a great time here and it was one of the best 5 star hotel we've stayed in. The hotel breakfast was simply amazing.
We also had dinner at Anna Stuben and it was fabulous. We left as very happy customers and would definitely be back again when we visit Ortisei .

Beautiful hotel steps away from the chairlift to Alpe di Siusi and the Ortisei town square. The service was amazing in this family run hotel, from the bartender remembering our drinks to the housekeeper paying attention to our shower habits and leaving extra towels next to the shower instead of the bathtub. Every detail of the experience was top-notch.

Stayed here three nights early Sept 2022. Wonderful smiling helpful staff, exceptional high end facilities. Huge hot tub, three very large saunas, a cold pool, and a heated indoor pool with plush lounge chairs and even a water bed. Spacious room with all the amenities. The best hotel I have ever stayed at in its price range (i.e. compared to similarly priced hotels in Hawaii, Los Angeles, Lake Tahoe CA, New York, Boston, London, Rome, Florence, Milan, Barcelona, Madrid, etc.).

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. I was impressed with a perfect service in the restaurant, great kids room and absolutely stunning spa and wellness areas.

I have visited this hotel four times with my family and cannot wait to visit it again.

Stayed here in June and absolutely loved it. Cozy room, wonderful spa with ladies only area, and a front desk which will spend significant time with you helping to plan your next days hike. We did dinner one night in the hotel and found it not for us, but thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the little snacks out in the lobby in the afternoon.

The best hotel I have ever been.
The food is exquisite, the breakfast buffet has everything you might want and more and the dinner menu’s in the evening offer different options for everyone. Any of the dishes are amazing!
The gym is great and clean with the machines in great condition.
The sauna area is also not overcrowded and offers a steam room, finnish sauna and a bio sauna as well as saunas for women only.
The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful.
The atmosphere seems quite familial, the staff greet you by name and offer suggestions and recommendations.

Absolutely fabulous! My husband and I were fortunate enough to spend 3 nights at this gorgeous Relais & Chateau property. We celebrated a friend’s birthday in their Michelin starred restaurant. Had one of the best and most relaxing massages in the spa and enjoyed the pool, sauna and other incredible spa amenities. From the hotel one can take several ski lifts to the top of the mountains and enjoy hiking, biking or a delicious lunch at one of the chalets. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return in the winter for some skiing.

True 5-star experience, the staff is the difference. What incredible hospitality. The rooms are nice but the service, amenities, and spa are over the top. Highly recommend.

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff is friendly and so efficient. Our room was wonderful. Roomy with a living area and jaw-dropping view Lots of storage space and plugs. The spa was excellent. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early in our four day stay but we will be back. My only criticism and it isn’t a criticism is that the food is so geared to those with very sophisticated palates I am a very picky eater and got a little intimidated by the fancy menu. I should not have worried as the staff was delighted to serve me a steak or spaghetti neither of which were on the menu. This Hotel deserves all the accolades it has been given

Stayed here in 2017 en passed by again last week: still the same luxurious feeling, very kind staff with a personal approach, excellent diners and an interesting location near the cabine car of the Seiser Alm.

This has been this most exceptional service at a hotel that I have ever experienced. We had a great time and I hope to someday return.

Our time at Gardena Grödnerhof Hotel & Spa was amazing. The staff were welcoming and kind, the food was delicious, and the rooms were stunning! Alberto was a top tier mixologist, every drink he made was so unique. We look forward to coming back and spending more time here!
