Hotel Villa Emilia

Had a lovely 4 night stay here recently in a single room, and cannot fault it.
The room was big enough and included everything you needed for a solo traveller, the free breakfast was incredible (loved the fruits, tea and soy milk). The highlight was the friendly service from all the staff, everyone was welcoming, understanding and accomodating of my limited Italian. Overall a quiet atmosphere and nice gardens, and the free pass to a spa in the city centre was a great added bonus.

Exceeded Expectations. The room was very clean, bathroom had great water pressure, breakfast was good, the views were beyond amazing. Such a comforting stay, with all of the staff being super friendly and helpful. Overall 10/10 stay, highly recommend!!

Beyond exceeded expectations!!! It is the the most perfect location, the view cannot be beat, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. They welcomed us with a smile and provided us with bus passes and pool/ sauna passes as well. A true Gem in ortisei and your perfect base for exploration! Don’t be deterred by the negative reviews.

Great hotel away from the tourist bustle of downtown. Our room on the third floor had a great view of the valet. We enjoyed the complimentary public pool passes and bus passes (which we were able to use to get all the way back to Bolzano). We also got a discount on the gondola rides. Great experience!

In short: Very pleasant stay! Lovely and helpful staff, great view of the outdoor space, clean rooms. Reachable location. Recommended! 👍👍👍

Location: Easy to reach. ~10-15 mins walk from the city center and/or any of the 3 cable cars that take you to the top. There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel (but you end up don't use them anyway because the bus come once in a long while). By car is totally no problem since they have parking space.

The hotel: Medium-sized traditional-styled hotel, but are well maintained and clean, giving you a nice mountain feel. Special thing is that the outdoor common space are very nice, with a stunning view. If you happen to come on the right day, they also do a special buffet for dinner with selection of local foods (not free, of course. but i recommend for non-local visitors to try out different dishes)

The staff: Very friendly and helpful!

Room: I'm traveling alone, so I got a single room. In my opinion, it's perfect for a lone traveler. Compact size with internal batroom. (some reviews said it's too small, but I think it's enough (considering you spend most of the time outside). The room and things offered are clean, with daily cleaning service. The downside of this single room is there is just a small window opening, so the ventilation is not so good. But again, it's not a big problem considering you spend most of your time outside and/or in the common outdoor space.

ps. This is just a quick review of a single room. Please see other reviews for other types of room.

Wifi: Works well in the room and interior. However they're not so fast, but enough to browse through things. And they're not covered throughout the whole hotel area (eg. doesn't work in the outdoor area).

Complimentary:
- During your stay the hotel also offered the travel card that allows you to go around val gardena with bus. Very useful!
- They also give you the free ticket to use the pool in the city center. I haven't went there myself, but I passed by to check it out and seems like a good one.

Perfect value for money, seventies yet very clean, lovely garden, good breakfast, okay dinner. People complaining about the tight parking spaces have a point but should just learn to park smarter

A lovely, cozy hotel, with great service, delicious food, very quiet rooms, and beautiful views. Highly recommend.

Great time there

Buongiorno. Io sono stato a fare una gita scolastica da martedì 12 marzo 2024 fino a giovedì 14 marzo 2024 presso questo hotel. Mi sono trovato molto bene: la vista dalle camere è eccellente, lo staff era sempre disponibile e gentile, la pulizia delle camere era ottima. Consiglio vivamente questo luogo a dei nuovi turisti che devono cercare un hotel economico vicino al centro e agli impianti di risalita, a Ortisei!!

Net een heel uitgebreid ontbijt gegeten, brand en brand schoon, mooi en ruime kamers, Andrea lijkt 24 uur per dag te werken, bij de ontbijt, bij avondeten, achter de bar, achter de balie, petje af Andrea. Dit is de tweede keer in deze hotel, alles perfect, prijs/ kwaliteit houding ongelooflijk goed, perfect voor de zuinige Hollanders die weinig uit wil geven en toch schoon hebben. Wij komen zeker terug, dankjewel voor de goede zorg.
Inmiddels al 5 keer geweest, I love this place, alles is perfect. 6 keer al geboekt voor volgende jaar.

Situato in una grande villa d'epoca, è un hotel vecchio stile e un po' rétro, non adatto a chi cerca il lusso e l'ultima moda. Ma per questo ci sono tanti altri hotel e con ben altri prezzi. Prima di tutto posizione e vista spettacolare, vicino al centro del paese, ben collegato con autobus agli impianti, dotato di parcheggio (sconsigliato ai SUV) e giardino con tavolini e lettini. Le camere sono tipiche e accoglienti, il bagno essenziale. Il ristorante offre buoni menu e ha come punto di forza il fatto che è tutto incluso: antipasti, contorni e dessert sono a buffet, per cui si ha molta libertà di scelta, e le bevande (acqua e vino) sono self-service. E' possibile inoltre utilizzare gratuitamente Mar Dolomit (piscine e wellness). Infine l' aspetto sicuramente più importante è rappresentato dalla accoglienza cordiale e familiare dei gestori, sempre presenti e disponibili, che ti fa sentire a casa.

Sehr Gut sehr freundlicher Gastwirt der auch den Nachbarn wenn mal eine Autobanne auf Muredastrasse passiert ist dieser Gastwirt sehr entgegen Kommend schneller als die Feuerwehr .

Hotel un po' datato. Pulitissimo. La Sig.ra Chiara è efficientissima. Ottima colazione e cena gustosa. Posizione panoramica. Navetta ski bus gratuita. Ingresso a Mar Dolomiti incluso nel prezzo della camera.

Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile, la camera bella e pulita quotidianamente e avevamo anche un bel balcone con una visita stupenda. Al ristorante dell'hotel si mangia molto bene e c'è a disposizione un vasto buffet. Anche il nostro 4 zampe si è divertito ed è diventato la mascotte dello staff. Consigliatissimo! Unico piccolo neo è il bagnetto in stanza che è un po' piccolino, ma d'altronde il bagno non è fatto per ballarci....
Sì potrebbe guadagnare un po' di spazio sostituendo la vasca (di dimensioni standard) con un box doccia. Nel complesso una settimana stupenda, se avremo occasione di tornare ad Ortisei, sicuramente torneremo al villa Emilia

Hotel eccellente.
Servizio clienti ottimo, cibo buonissimo e accoglienza calorosa.
E' posizionato un po' in alto rispetto al centro, ma c'è una fermata del bus accanto all'albergo.
Molto belle anche le camere e l'interno del luogo in se.
Consigliato sia per famiglie che per singoli.

Tolle Lage und super Essen, nettes Personal und das Zimmer mit balkon klasse. Weiß nicht warum hier so viele negative Kritiken sind. Ist doch schon beim Buchen ersichtlich das das eine alte Villa ist 120 Jahre alt und noch in der österreichischen Habsburger Zeit erbaut. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen vielen Dank an Chiara und der netten Dame vom Speisesaal.

Mi sono trovato molto bene prezzi consoni alla struttura, camere pulite e personale cortese. Ottima cena tutto molto buono e porzioni generose.

Prenotato per 5gg per 3 persone. Abbiamo avuto una camera ampia con annesso bagno privato. Comodo parcheggio, giardino con sdraio, lettini ed ombrellone. Vista stupenda e10 min a piedi per raggiungere il centro di Ortisei. Ottimo servizio ristorante.
