We actually went only to the Greenhouse cafe right by the cabins. What an amazing experience, our host and chef Stefan was there to welcome us, the greenhouse is really well built in such a way you feel like home. The different pastries were really well made and we had a little chat with him as well.

Come as guest, leave as friends was such a good description of our short time there.

We stayed 2 nights before heading to Reykjavik but wished we had made our stay longer. The house here far exceeded our expectations. The cafe was great to refuel the kids in the afternoon and the kids loved walking the trails and hills. We would definitely come back and recommend to anyone else.

What an awesome stay. The property is beautiful, with treed landscaping set below a glacier in a quiet valley, only 10ish mins to the nearby city. There is a hot tub next to the glacier stream, a disc golf course, list goes on. The cabins are very new and very nice, and there is a cafe on site but we had to leave before it was open unfortunately. The host is wonderful and runs it himself, definitely recommend staying here or stopping for a coffee or meal!

We didn’t stay here but we had lunch in the newly opened cafe and it was fantastic. The soup and cakes were delicious and most were homemade. The owners are very friendly. The cabins look beautiful and we hope to return to stay in one of them.

Fantasic place to stay. Daniel is so helpful. A little haven of peace and quiet. Cabin has everything and more than we need. Fully equipped - even washing powder, shower gel/ shampoo & conditioner, kitchen roll - everything you could think of. 100% recommend

We were just there for a fantastic coffee and cake at Dala Kaffi (open every day 11-17h), and this is an absolutely lovely spot!

The most wonderful accommodation during our stay in Iceland.
