Great shop bought sweater for 22000, most expensive ive seen for 25k. Ladies there were very nice and said "you can try all of them" and gave us a time to discover the best one without pressing us to get anything. 100% reccomended.

Amazing place! I love the idea of regional (Dalabyggd) handwork cooperative - each product has information about the wool used, who made it, telephone number to the person that made the item. There are about 50 people knitworking for the store from the Dalabyggd region. While checking out, the information is collected to support the local creator. Quality of products is amazing - there are variety of sizes and patterns to choose from. The salesperson, Mrs Elísabet, speaks fluent English, is very interesting, polite and helpful. I spent a lovely time there and I know that my money will support the local people, what I love about. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, really - one of the best shops in Iceland I visited! You can find there also a bit of ceramics and paintings. I hope the community will grow bigger, the idea is amazing. I'm very happy to take piece of Icelandic heart home!

Best shop for authentic original wool on the island I've found. My green hooded elf lopi sweater is one of a kind and came with the name and contact of the person whom knitted it. It's held up well over the last 6 years.

Excellent store with authentic hand made goods such as wool sweaters, hats, gloves, and slippers. Many other locally produced crafts. We walked out with a new winter hat and a sweater. The sweater was made by the woman working the register!

Very nice little store with friendly staff. The hand-made goods were very unique and of high quality. My wife and I did have an issue with payment via credit/bank card the one day that we were there, but it sounds like that sort of problem is very rare, and the staff were able to resolve the issue for us. Would definitely recommend this nice little shop!
