Pollurinn Hot Pool

If you enjoy Icelandic Hot Pools you can't miss on this little hidden gem with a wonderful view on the fjord.
The lockers are very clean and there is a small shower where you can rinse before entering the pool. There are several pools with different water temperature and a wonderful wooden "patio" where to rest in the sun.

We came early morning. Nobody was there. Perfect watter temperature (around 40 degrees). Nice view.

Great set of pools. The hottest one had some algae in it but was still excellent. There was a small cold plunge pool down the hill. After we finished a crew came up and started cleaning the pools. Well worth a visit.

Free hot spring with hot shower and two changing rooms. Pool closest to the road is the hottest and most slippery due to algae. Donation box is also available. No toilets.

This hotpot is just amazing. There are 3 pools and a shower. The view is excellent. We spend a night nearby. This is why people love Iceland. The place is quite far, but it´s not crowded. Worth the trip!

Very simple and nice place with a great view on the fjord. It is only 3 minutes drive out of the city and it has everything you need to change your clothes and take a shower before going in. There are different pools with medium to high temperature water !

Really very nice hot tub. It does not look great, maybe, but The view over the fjord is really nice, it's open 24/7, the price is very good, 500ISK if I remember correctly, you have access to changing rooms, a hot shower, a *really* hot tub, and a colder one. Also, it's super clean.
Beware that the road sign to get there is tiny, don't miss it. (on your right, a few Kilometers from Talknafjordur, on a steep dirt road)

Some of the best things in life are free, and Pollurinn proves it. Three pleasantly hot pools - varying in depth and temperature - offer splendid views of the fjord. The changing rooms are impressively clean. Google navigates you right to the point where a short side road off the waterside road takes you some hundred meter up towards the mountain; there is a parking lot. There is also a hot shower but you need to bring your own soap and towel (and swimsuit).

There is a new tub with medium hot water, twice as big as others and it is the cleanest one. Other tubs are bit green from algae, but very hot and nice. Shower and dressing rooms are cozy and warm.

5 stars. 3 small pools with hot spring water(with a little difference in temperature). The man that maintain this site building another one. You have there shower to wash your self and changing area,no WC.The view is also very nice,sea and mountains. Donation box at entrance of changing room.

Wonderful hot pot maintained and used primarily by the local community. Very large set of 3 pools that is often used by the locals. Includes a changing room and shower.

Very nice, isolated hotspot with 3 baths (more or less hot and deep) with a gorgeous view on the fjord. There are well maintained changing rooms for men and women as well as a hot shower.

The best free hot spring we have found in the west fjords, very clean and organized changing room and shower. Worth leaving a contribution! Be aware of the water temperature, a bit too hot sometimes.
