Delicious fish soup served with bread and butter. Cozy place with friendly people. You have a nice view of the fishing boats. The fish in this cafe is probably very fresh:)

lovely place with beautiful view. waffle was tasty. hot chocolate wasn't really sweet, which I liked, however there was an option of adding more sugar and making it more sweet. staff were very nice. big bonus was DRAFT BEER - very special in this remoted area.

We really enjoyed our lunch stop at this charming cafe overlooking the harbour!

The vegan soup was delicious. On the day we ate, it was a Mexican soup.
The soup came with bread, which was divine and served with olive oil.
Our french fries were great, along with vegan chili mayo.

The waitstaff was kind, personable, and just lovely! Gave us a map of the area and places to enjoy.

The lunch made us smile all day!

Cheers!

The place is cosy with tasty and filling meal options. In the rainy weather it was a perfect place to have a nice dinner. The staff is kind, caring and have a good eye for detail. I was very satisfied with the whole experience. 😊☀

Our pan-fried cod and fish soup were superb. Spectacular views perched above the harbor and located along a remote and spectacular Icelandic coast in the Westfiords. Excellent service.

Cozy, friendly little restaurant at the end of the Strandir Coast! Got a tasty fish bake. Very good service. Pretty views out the window of boats, the fjord, and the mountains. An excellent complement to a dip in the Krossneslaug pool nearby!

This is one of the most beautiful remote places in Iceland. I was very surprise to find such a charming and lovely location. The food and service is a top level one. The fish soup (wow!!), and the veggie burger was fantastic.
I'm so happy I got to know the area and find this amazing kaffi. Good value and totally recommended.

Fish soup is good with a tomato base, lots of cakes and such available too if wanted. Can't ask for much more from a place so remote. Nice views out the window too.

Sympathetic place for a coffee and some food after a beautiful drive down to Nordurfjordur. You might miss the place, since it is not really good to spot from the road, but do not give up and go in. Friendly people, good food and nice scenery. Perfect place to get some energy before you drive back.

This place feels like home even if your home is thousands of kms away! People have the biggest heart here and everything is done with love and you can feel it all!
The bread is homemade and is served hot! So good! The panfried cod is the best I’ve had in iceland so far and the cakes are all amazing! Definitely recommended!

Great little café/restaurant was open 1300-2100 when I visited at end August although closes for the winter months.
Highly recommend the fish soup and the Icelandic version of fish pie.
Friendly welcoming staff and owners.

The fish soup with large pieces of fish was excellent. So was the fried camembert. The place was so lovely and welcoming, we came back after a swim for coffee and a heavenly piece of cake .

We are talking about the northernmost cafe on this route. Love the atmosphere and service, well worth the visit.
Food is excellent. And the views breathtaking.

They gave me supertasty food when I returned after a hike! They also provided a vegan soup to me, even though they didn't have it on the menu. Would give 10 stars if I could!

Great service and friendly staff! Had a good kleina there and an OK coffee (from a machine would have loved and old fashioned pour over)

Great fish soup and bread (wish it was more than just one slice!) with a nice view of the water.
