This place is at the end of Bostan street. Saadi is one of the great Persian poet and literature.
One amazing thing about the building of the tomb is architecture. It ihas a cubic shape from outside but from the inside, it is in the form of an octangle with walls of marble. You can see his poet on the wall.
This tomb is in the middle of a beautiful garden, you can walk and enjoy the music which plays there.

At first it may look like a random garden with a monument in the middle but if you read a little beforehand and know where are you going to , that makes a big difference. A tomb of a world traveler and poet and philosopher and suffi master that his quotes and thoughts are still being used and actually one of the main resources of Farsi literature in term of proverbs or metaphors etc .
If you like to have a good view you can hike from the hill nearby or grab some ice cream and carrot juice from the shops in front as they're famous for that .

Brilliant experience to see the tomb of the great humanist writer and poet. The location is very special, there are beautiful gardens surrounding the pavilion, and it's a wonderful place to be at the end of the day as the sunlight wanes and the birds return to the trees, telling each other about their days. Very memorable experience.

The tomb of the poet Saadi
A famous Persian poet, Saadi, is buried here. Plenty of Iranians come to pay their respects to a beloved poet and there are verses of his work inscribed on his tomb. Without knowing the poet, tourists may get less out of this than others, but it is still wonderful to see how much the Iranians treasure their spectacular literary heritage.

Saadi was a great Iranian poet, who lived roughly at the same time as Hafez. Both of them were from Shiraz and their tombs are located near each other. Unlike Hafez who spent most of his life in Shiraz, Saadi was constantly traveling. Two of his poem book remain: Bustan and Golestan, which contain spiritual and instructive poems. His poems are used widely in Iranian schools due to their literal simplicity. His mausoleum includes a hall with seven portals which show the stages of spiritual growth in Iranian mysticism, the tomb itself is located at the end of this hall. Next to the tomb there is an underground pool with lots of gold fish. Some people believe if you throw a coin in there while wishing and the big fish sees your coin, you wish will come true.

Sheikh Saadi is famous poet & writer among Muslim countries including my country Pakistan. His "Bostan" & "Gulistan" both books are read by a large number of readers includung men, women, & students. Hence, if person has no interest in poetry but still he knows Sheikh Saadi because of his famous moral Hikayats/stories. So, if visitor who visit Shiraz & if he knows Sheikh Saadi then he can't resist himself to visit his tomb/grave. Same was the case with me, I visited Shiraz because of Sheikh Saadi, Hafez & few other sacred Shrines. Tomb of Sheikh Saadi is in outskirt of Sheraz. It is big in size having garden in it too. Neat & clean. Calm atmosphere. Always busy with lot of visitors. Wonderful place to come & pay tribute to this famous poet.

Nice building. Tomp of saadi (current building) was designed and built by Mr Foroughi under supervision of queen Shahbanoo Farah Pahlavi. The intresting part is combination old and modern art/architectural elements to design this building. There is a stream at basement contain some kind of fish.

This tomb is a highly visited site by Iranians and, if you visit it, it is understandable why. The complex houses a beautiful garden with the mausoleum as its' centerpiece. During a hot day, the tall cypress trees give way to a nicely cool environment. Bring your camera and get ready to photograph a unique place.
