Sultan Amir Ahmad Bathhouse

The Sultan Amir Ahmad Bathhouse is exquisitely decorated, the main color is blue, is a very unique Persian hamman architecture, the limestone paintings carved on the columns are really impressive.
The hamman's dome is also very impressive with its light and ventilation mechanism, and there is a way to go up to the roof.
On weekdays, it is also quite crowded with visitors, mainly Chinese tourists, causing noise and disorder.

The bathhouse is recently restorated and everything looks fresh colorful inside. Walking in the corridors of bathouse was really a good feeling. I felt like walking in the bathhouse scene of gheysar movies

The historic Sultan Amir Ahmad Bathhouse is an example of the most unique Iranian baths in terms of architecture and decoration with an area of 1102 square meters in the ancient city of Kashan. The bath dates back to Seljuk and Qajar. One of the important items of this building is lime and plaster, with its 17 luminous layers representing its age. Other masterpieces of the building are its beautiful roof.The roof of this bathroom is one of the symbolic places of Kashan and the subject of many photographers.

A very beautiful place to visit, but I would come with a guide, because there is very little information. Price 200 000 rials. I really liked that it was possible to walk on the roof.

This is without doubt one of the most beautiful historical bathhouses I've seen in Iran. the attention to details while building this place is just staggering.

Sultan Amir Ahmad Bathhouse, Kashan, Iran. Built in the 16th century, today the bathhouse serves as a tourist attraction, rather than its primal purpose. The objective of the bathhouse was not only to promote cleanliness, but also to be a place for relaxation, discussions and even praying. A prototype of a modern spa center!
As expected in Arabic architecture, the house is decorated with amazing ornamental tiles, some of which are turquoise and gold. The house has two main parts – the octagonal dressing hall called Sarbineh and the hot bathing hall Garmkhaneh. Although hammams were a very big part of Arabic culture, today they are replaced by the indoor plumbing, installed in every household. Therefore the Sultan Amir Ahmad Bathhouse serves as a museum and is registered as a national heritage site.

It’s amazing traditional bath with a nice architecture design.just go there with some body to explain about amazing design and explain how they use this place that time.

Great place with a lot of decorations. Visit it in order to understand How a tre persian hamman looks like. Besides from the roof you have a nice view of the town. Highly recommended!

Sultan Amir Ahmad Bathhouse also known as the Qasemi Bathhouse, is a traditional Iranian public bathhouse in Kashan, Iran. It was well constructed in the 16th century.

One of the most amazing bathhouses I have ever seen. I was amazed by the beautiful and colorful mosaics as well as by columns, arcs and ceilings.

A must see in Kashan, tourist entrance fee 500,000 IRR.

Very beautiful former bath house. Dont miss the view from the roof. The entrance is opposite to the ticket desk. They have a combined ticket for the bath and the historical houses.

It is wonderfull! But I could not visit it completely :( I was in a hurry... but I will go there again... at the first time I go there, there was closed! We suprised why..?!... but the second time we went there, we visited there as fast as possible...

Very nice to visit. And don't forget to visit the roof. The roof is more interesting for me than the bath, because it's more special. But you could visit some similar traditional bath home in Iran. Although it is one of the nicest. So I recommend you to visit it if you have enough time.

Sultan Amir Ahmad Bathhouse, with an area of around 1000 square meters, consists of two main parts: the sarbineh (dressing hall) and garmkhaneh (hot bathing hall). The sarbineh is a large octagonal hall and has an octagonal pool in the middle, separated by 8 pillars from the outer section. There are four pillars in the garmkhaneh, which make smaller bathing rooms all around as well as the entrance section to the khazineh (final bathing room) in the middle. The interior of the bathhouse is decorated with turquoise and gold tilework, plasterwork, brickwork, as well as artistic paintings. The roof of the bathhouse is made of multiple domes that contain convex glasses to provide sufficient lighting to the bathhouse while concealing it from the outside.
