Persian people have done wonders when it comes to turning desert into a garden 😍😍 this garden is inside city of Kashan, a big rose garden itself. The impact it has on the climate around there is unbelievable. The garden and small fountains helped us refresh in the summer heat (43 celcius degrees even!) had lovely time here

It was a beautiful place in terms of its architecture and water supply system, it was really surprising. Not to mention the turquoise colored tiles that capture one's heart at the first moment. Fin Kashan bath is worth visiting.

Beautiful Persian garden and one of a kind water circulation system with gravity and pressure based fountains. It's almost seems there is a magic behind the idea but it's all very precise and beautiful science.
The museum was fine too.

A definitely worth seeing place, a feast to the eye and soothing for the soul. It has a huge garden area, with a hammam (historical bath), house, library, etc, so you can spend some time there.

In the middle of desert it very interesting a persian garden nice cold and very beautiful fountains. The garden is surrounded by big walls and watch towers. The design and art work is very beautiful. If you are tired of being in city you can go there for relaxing. I have been there in summer the trees were very beautiful.
There is also a bathroom it famous because Amir Kabir has been killed there.
There are many shops and restaurants outside the garden you can enjoy to have food with your friends or family.

A well-known place for Iranians as one of the greatest man of this land's history (Amirkabir) was stabbed & murdered in the bath on the corner of the garden by the order of the king Naseredin shah. This garden is a good example of Persian garden and it beautifully demonstrates the importance of four holy elements of life.

I am very lucky to have seen the snowfall during my 4-day trip to Kashan, seeing Finn Garden on a snowy day was very exciting and different from previous times.

It was interesting days i had in Fin garden when i was tour guide there in 2019 . and after 4 years i came back there to remember that days and show the fin garden to my little nephew .

Fin Garden is definetely one of the most beautiful Persian Gardens in Iran. The water channels are covered with blue tiles that give the impression the water is colored.

The Fin Garden is regarded as one of the most beautiful gardens of its type, and it has been reported that this is the oldest surviving Persian garden in Iran. Reflecting its location and sacred symbolism, the Fin Garden is a masterpiece combining natural and man-made elements.
Creation of the Fin Garden
The Fin Garden (known also in Persian as ‘Bagh-e Fin’) is a traditional Persian garden located in Kashan, in the central Iranian province of Isfahan. Today, the Fin Garden is one of the nine gardens that form the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the ‘Persian Garden’. This garden is believed to have been created during the early part of the Safavid Dynasty, around the first half of the 16th century.

The current design, however, may be traced to the reign of Shah Abbas I, the 5th Safavid Shah of Iran, who reigned from 1588 to 1629. Nonetheless, the Fin Garden continued to be developed over time. One significant period of restoration and enlargement occurred during the reign of the 2nd Qajar Shah of Iran, Fath-Ali Shah Qajar, who ruled from 1797 to 1834.

Features of a Persian Garden
As mentioned earlier, the Fin Garden is a Persian Garden. These gardens are distinguished by certain common features that date back to the time of the Cyrus the Great, who ruled the Achaemenid Empire during the 6th century BC. One of the most important principles shared by the Persian gardens is the chahar bagh (meaning ‘four gardens’) layout.

According to this design, a Persian garden, which is quadrilateral in shape, would be divided into four parts by waterways. These channels are supplied with water from a source, a fountain, for instance, located in the middle of the garden.

Persian gardens are meant to symbolize the harmony between the four Zoroastrian elements – sky, earth, water, and plants. With the advent of Islam, these gardens also came to represent the Garden of Eden, or the four gardens of Paradise, as mentioned in the Qur’an. Whilst a common layout may be found in all Persian gardens, the overall design has been adapted to the different climates they were being created in.

Natural Elements and Man-made Structures in the Garden
In the case of the Fin Garden, this Persian garden is located in a part of the country where the climate is arid. This contrast between the lush foliage within the garden and the barren landscape surrounding it is perhaps one of the factors contributing to the Fin Garden’s beauty. This is further enhanced by the natural and man-made elements in the garden. The orange trees in the garden, for example, exude a fragrant aroma when they are in blossom. Other plants in the Fin Garden include fruit trees such as apple trees and cherry trees, as well as flowers, including jasmine, tulips, lilies, and violets.

Good place, with a lot of water and full of history. You have a coffee shop with a great environment. Where you can eat and drink. It is better to at the morning and with a guide to know the full story of this place m.

If you want to be amazed with nature and architecture at the same time and also enjoy the sound of water, this is a good place to visit!

A pleasant and historic garden in Kashan.
This garden has an imposing exterior, peaceful waterworks inside, and was the site of an historic assassination in previous centuries.

If you had a chance to visit Kashan you SHOULD checkout Fin Garden and enjoy their old culture.

It's a beautifull and famous garden in Kashan. There is also a bathroom inside where Amir kabir ( a famous iranian prime minister) has been murdered.

One of my favorite places in Iran. like a heaven on Earth. it's Also a historical place.

Beautiful garden with rich history. Good to spend a few hours there walking around then resting with some refreshing tea.

Lovely place, such peace in the garden. And the feeling of standing in an important scene of history, where a man as great as Amir Kabir has been killed.
