Delightful bookstore allows you all the time you need to wander, look, skim, read, and choose. Considerate staff. One saw I was juggling several selections and quietly brought me a bag for them. I bought the bag, but wasn't asked to do so. Lovely selection of India coffee-table books and an eclectic assortment of titles. And an inviting children's section with comfy seating. Then, when tired, go have tea and cookies, or fuller fare, in Cha Bar. My new favorite bookstore ... but (alas) I returned to Minnesota.

This is a perfect hideout for book lovers. On the top of it, If you are also a foodie then you might just feel like you have entered paradise and you are definitely in for an amazing quality time. The place is beautifully arranged with great collection of books and offers an ambience to catch up on your reading and some book stacking. It’s perfect for kids too; the kids only zone seating placed right in the middle of the store puts this book’s haven right on top for your choices. After you laze around with the books, the cafe Cha Bhar relinquishes your taste buds as you try to satiate your mind with the wonders of the books all around. Quality of the food is top notch and this cafe as a stand alone will bring so much joy to your day. This has been my favourite hangout place in Delhi and I keep suggesting this place to all my friends for the sheer joy it showers in our otherwise busy hustling lives!

One of our favourite book stores in Delhi. Everytime we walk in, the store surprises us! The curation is great and there are books for everyone-every age, every genre and every type. The well spaced out shelves give you ample time and space to browse the books at leisure

Oxford Bookstore is really pretty with a pretty unique collection. It has a coffee shop attached so it may be a great offbeat date location!

A large array of books on various subject matter is available in this book store. What i like about this bookstore is that they also have cafe where you may get tea, coffee and snacks.

1. Buying your favourite book from their wide range of books.

2. They offer a sitting space where you can sit and read before buying.

3. An in-house coffee and cake shop along with a separate cafeteria... Your favourite book with a warm cup of coffee.

4. Washroom

Great variety and almost all books with oxford publication yiu can find. A nice cozy cafateria inside for taking books and reading.

Lot of comic books as well. Manga version of Sherlock holmes book was wonserfull. Definitely worth 3 - 4 hour if you are studious kind and want to good evening.

The bookstore has a captivating and dreamy ambiance that I thoroughly enjoyed. However, there are numerous restrictions – no photography allowed, you can't use the seating area, and taking books to the cafe for reading is not permitted. While it's visually appealing, it might not be the most reader-friendly space. On a positive note, they do have an excellent collection of books.

The perfect place for channeling your inner book-sthetic. Pleasant aesthetic for a book store with a colourful vibe all over the place. They have a separate cushioned area for a good book reading session.

Oxford Book Store. Situated in Cannaught Place, New Delhi in N block. It is situated on the first floor above Samsung Showroom.
Place is a vibe. Very pretty ambience. Variety of books and other stationery items. It also has a cute little cafe with approx 40 person seating capacity. They are serving chai, ice tea, pizza, pasta, fruit cakes, shakes, etc. service is good.

Book AND coffee shop? I'm sold. Their collection and decor is compelling. I was on a self-imposed book ban when I visited but still ended up buying THREE books. A must-visit if you, like me, love book browsing & shopping, with a coffee in hand.

Between Crossword, Baharison's and this one, I prefer Oxford these days as they seem to have a wider selection of titles. The Connaught Place store also has the Cha Bar inside for snacks and bites and stalls for cute stationery and trinkets. You'll usually find some cultural programme going on as well. The store is spacious enough and you can browse books at your leisure without anyone hassling you.

Really beautiful place with a very good ambiance. Original copies of books in hardcover. There are handmade recycled paper diaries available in such beautiful covers.

The Store has a lot of collection of good books. Whether it be History, Geography, Novels, Fictions, etc, every genre they got them. If you're interested in a books I suggest this place. Very friendly and helpful Staff members. I enjoyed browsing and buying books that I like to read, you should visit them too.

This book store has been a favorite for years. I still remember the old one in Statesman building.have spent so many afternoons there sipping masala tea with a book in hand.
The new one on outer circle block is not that great. It's much smaller but they have a good collection of books. The cha Bar is serving quite a range of food and beverages now.
I liked the kids section a lot here. It has all possible books for little ones. Picked up quite a few things from this store in my last visit. And my eight year old was also thrilled to start a new series after finishing his last one. Highly recommended for book lovers

Book store, library and Cha bar.....all at same place. Take your kids and they will love to spend time reading books there, take your spouse and he/she will love the Cha bar. Nice tea, coffee and a lot to eat there.

Best ambience for books, readings and coffee

For people who love to read books peacefully with a calm and cozy environment with nice soft music , this is the place plus you have a cafe in there where you can also have your fav coffee with your fav book . So I'll say you should visit here once atleast . I like this place 👍
