The Good Old Cafe

It’s a beautiful cafe with tastefully done interiors. Amazing staff and great food. We planned our mother’s 50th birthday party here and it was a great experience. The cafe along with indoor sitting has ample of space outside and with lights in the evening it’s magical. The food is absolutely delicious (we totally loved the continental options) and the staff makes some really amazing fresh mocktails. Its definitely a must visit when around nainital.

On way to Bhimtal, we came across The Good Old Cafe - the rustic quirky look brought out our curiosity and we decided to give it a try. I can proudly say we nade the absolute right decision - this recently opened cafe is one if the best cafes I’ve ever been to in my 39 year old existence into this world. The food is so fresh and yumilicious, the ambience is just so unique and off beatish and the best part is the warmth and personal attention Manish, Amit & Garima (The lovely owners) give..Every minute spent here is worth it and its easy on the pocket! I wish them all the very best and look forward to the launch of their chain of such lively cafes soon. Visiting The Good Old Cafe made me feel ALIVE!! Opulent ambiance... Very Good Coffee I had.. one should visit..

There are cafes and then there are places in the hills to chill, this one is the latter. It is on the Bhowali-Bhimtal road and should not be missed if you're zooming past this stretch.

Lovely place. The tasteful wooden decor and subdued lighting in the evening gives it a warm feel. Had awesome pizza here. Good outdoor set up too. Prices and portions could be revisited by the owners. Well located in between Bhimtal and Bhowali...but look out for it or you could miss it. Some more prominent signage would help. Has a clean loo.

I was lucky to find this place in Bhimtal and you will be Lucky if you eat here. The food is unbelievable. I cannot be remember the last time when the Pizza tasted this good. It is truly amazing. The base, the sauce, the cheese and toppings they all work incredibly well. Kudos to the chef and to the owner for creating such a fine establishment. Try them and you will go back every time you are in and around Bhimtal. I am definitely going back!

First time around Bhimtal... Driving to our destination and this rustic looking cafe peeps out to us invitingly..we decide to explore it at meal time..
And what a gem this cafe is!!!! It exudes a relaxing vibe..letting you absorb the beautiful view it has to offer..and the food matches up perfectly to the surreal mood of the place...
And The walnut pie surpasses anything you have ever had..its absolute bliss!!
You don’t get enough of this place. We are coming back for more!!!

The cafe looks clean spacious airy and well lighted. The ambience is very appealing and the cakes and coffee to die for. The cafe has space for parking which is such a relief. The owners personal touch makes all the difference to thecafe

We went to the Good Old Cafe yesterday(29thJune 2019) and I must say that this cafe was far better than what we had expected it to be. The cafe is done up very nicely...the interiors are like that of a quaint French cafe. It has an indoor and an outdoor sitting as well , parking is not an issue at all as they have their own little parking space .
The food was absolutely scrumptious.

were all so heavenly and delectable.
It was a surprise to find a cafe with such lovely ambience ,Good music and great food in the hills.
The service was excellent and the owner was very courteous.
This cafe shall now be on our "must visit" list whenever we are there in or around Nainital and will surely be recommending it to others as well.

We had a wonderful evening at this cafe for coffee and sandwich,on the main road of Bhowali,the owner and staff were family friendly. They have good Israeli food and good Pizza and Coffee.
Definitely recommend for good choice of Italian and Isreali food .Price is bit high but can be effort for great yummy food.. .👌

So I was in Nanital for a couple of days and came across this beautiful place.
Amidst the great hills rests the colored flags which draw your attention.

Had the best food here and I've tried other places but nothing beats this.

The owner was really welcoming and warm.
I had a great time here.

A very beautiful place with both outdoor and indoor sitting. Food was excellent, must try 5 bell pepper pizza. The owner of this beautiful cafe was very kind and sweet. The ambience and the songs playing in the background are so good. A must visit place in Bhimtal.

The good old cafe provides a great ambience to have a meal and chill with family and friends. The new Peri Peri chicken wrap simply out of this world. I would really recommend this place for a proper English breakfast as well.
