It's a very beautiful homestay at gurdum. Sadew vaiya and susmita di is very good hearted person. Their behavior is very good and friendly.
Bhaiya can be the best guide if you are planning to explore offbeat gurdum.. ❤
Food is very homely and delicious also. It's was the magic of susmita di's hand 😍

WE ARE FROM MALDA WEST BENGAL. THEY SERVE US LIKE A RELATIVE OF THEIR OWN'S. VERY GOOD PLACE TO STAY. FOOD WAS GOOD ENOUGH AND ROOM ALSO SUFFICIENT CLEAN.

We stayed there on 30th April 23. We are totally highly glad to announce that Village Homestay Gurdum is a lovely and sceptacular stay in every aspects. Shodoy Bhailay, his Wife and his so adorable new born baby - still missing their presence. Food is so yummy 😋. If we go there in near future, it will be our must stay.

It was a awesome experience for staying at this homestay in monsoon session. The Gurdum village is very scenic and silent. Room was very clean. Service is too good. Sadew bhai and his familys are very humble and friendly persons. Food quality is just yummy. They served us their authentic local food.

Among a few homestays on the same hill, this one is at the top. It’s for those who enjoy walking up a little and get a peaceful place to stay as a reward. Two rooms have 6+4 total beds. Hosts are excellent. Total value for money.

It's quite a good place near Maneybhajyang. It's a 10-15 mins hike from the main road of Gurdum main road. ( Not recommended the person who has knee problem) If anyone has a plan to start trekking from Dhotrey/Maneybhajyang, he/she can stay at Gurdum. It will take 30-45 mins to reach dhotrey and 10-15 mins to Maneybhajyang by car. Mr. Sadew Rai (owner of Village Homestay) is always there to drop & pick up by his Car ( Alto 800). The service we had got in his Homestay, was a really awesome experience, especially the food quality is the most admirable. Overall we had an awesome day on 20th November' 2022.

It was a great experience, the place is beautiful, it's cool calm and peaceful. Serene place. Their hospitality is very good, it's feels like family. Shadew bhaiya and Sushmita sister is very helpful, they are always there to serve you. Very nice village, highly recommended.

We stayed in this homestay for 6 days and its was amazing. The host Sushmita and her husband were very welcoming and accommodating,

The stay is situated on a hill top for which you will have to climb few steps about 200 meters.
The highlight of the tour was the food and the scenic beauty around stay. The Host cooked awesome Lunch dinner and evening snacks, We ate everything ranging from momo's made from raiee sag stuffing to a Nepales delicacy called Gundrup. There are a lot of places around to trek like chitry,lamhey dhrey etc.... If you want to experience fresh air with warm food then this is a place to be . the rooms were clean with warm blankets and the host also offered us extra blankets in case we felt cold Would love to visit again ...!

only 2 things which could be worked upon
1) Western styled toilets instead of Indian
2) strong Wi-Fi connectivity , if they can bring it here then it could be turned into a work from mountains facility and people can stay a longer time.

Excellent hospitality, Food quality is awsome. Too frank to communicate with us, Sadew ji is a good guide of the village. our experience is just outstanding. Sadew ji and Sushmita di took care on us everytime....

Gurdum is a small village near Maneybhanjan. There is this homestay of Sadew bhaiya.The homestay is very nice like gurdum village. There is a double bedded room and a triple bedded room, with attached bathroom in this homestay.We were there for two days in April.The hospitality of sadew bhai and his wife Sushmita has fascinated us. The food of their homestay was very delicious .We were there for two days in April.Gurdum and Sadew Brother's homestay is a great option to spend 2-3 days alone or with friends in a mountainous environment .
Note: It takes about 300+ steps to reach the homestay from Main Road, so it is a problem for older people.
