The location is awesome with real hill Village feelings. The behaviour of the host is very nice. Lovely experience. Food also very good. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly Prakash (owner) ,he makes our trip more interesting with his advice & tips about the mountain ranges,Would definitely recommend this home stay to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. He also arranged us the cab for sandekphu and back to Darjeeling from his place .

The location is very nice and homestay is very beautiful. Accomodation is also good. The owner's behaviour is very cool.Here organic vegetables are available. Delicious food. We feel awesome and enjoying to see all around mountain view.

One of the best home stays I have stayed. The location is awesome with real hill Village feelings. Highly Recommended. The behaviour of the host Mr. Prakash Rai is very nice. He is also a trained guide for trecking. He had arranged a small hiking to Dumbar Khola waterfall. Lovely experience. Food also very good. Specially the special chutney by Prakash da is delicious 🤤.

An awesome place with great food and ambiance. Loved the hospitality of the owner, a dedicated man who has believed in hard working in life to achieve something. Heard some of his journey and gathered his expericence, which may help us in life.

A very great cook and the owner who is an hard working person, a mountaineer, a trekker, everything you can get in one point.

I have left this homestay just this morning. Awesome experience. Truly nice place with serene beauty and calmness in the midst of nature. Cheaper than Darjeeling. And the hospitality is beyond words as you are going to feel at home.

Mesmerising place.....the way the stay is planned it makes it a mini heaven on earth, amazingly tasty food, Prakash is an exceptional owner and host....it's not 5 rating but worth 10 out of 5 rating!! We planned to stay one day and were sad to leave that place in 1 day.....we are super sure that we will visit the place soon and stay for a few days at least. One of the best stay experiences this was.

I stayed a couple of days with this mountain legend in his homestay. He treated me like his own brother. This place is like a safehaven for travellers who wants to experience adventure with a seasoned guide. Delicious homemade foods were served. He was the team leader for us during trekking. Caution : The scenic beauty and Prakash bro's hospitality will definitely allure you to stay here longer than you've planned for.

The place is surreal. Peaceful and quint village with only about 25 families and as close to the nature as it can get. The food is simple but surprisingly really tasty and Prakash is an amazing host. The rooms are comfortable with plenty of warm blankets and the view is beautiful to say the least. Prakash is also a trained chef, guide and a seasoned mountaineers, which definitely adds to the whole experience.

Beautiful homestay with excellent location and superb natural beauty all around. Neat & clean rooms, with wall to wall carpet, sofa set etc. Warm hospitality with nice behaviour specially by Prakash Arnav, owner of the homestay. Very hot, delicious food served, fresh vegetables are from his own garden. We fully enjoyed our 2 days stay here and strongly recommend this homestay for trekkers & tourists during their trip at Singalila National Park.

Beautiful and serene location. Wonderful and friendly hosts with the best hospitality. Everyone is so eager to lend a helping hand to make the stay a comfortable one and the trip enjoyable to the fullest. The food was organic and absolutely delicious. One of the best homestays I have stayed in. The view is awesome, rooms are really nice, the homegrown Dalle chilli was my personal favorite. But the top most thing is hospitality of Prakash Bhaiya (Owner). He himself cooked some delicious food and didn't turn down any request from us be it bonfire or asking for water at late night. Overall it was a great experience.

A Homestay With amazing view , surrounded by trees,filled with peace and quiet.
Prakash is an amazing host,he took care of us all with all his heart,made us barbeque chicken and a amazing pork curry and many other tasty dishes. The bathrooms and rooms are clean. He took us trekking from dhotrey to tonglu to chitre to gurdum, he was an amazing guide and took care that all of us reached our destinations safe and securely.
He is always jolly and smiling and time went flying while trekking with him. He also treated us to local delicacies that gave the trip a personal touch.
All in all if you come to gurdum,a stay at this homestay is a must.

More than a homestay. It is an experience in itself.
Located in the foothills of Singalila National park and just below a beautiful alpine pine forest. The place is a view point in itself.
The host, Prakash is a gem of a person. Very welcoming as a host. He is an experienced trek leader who can take you out for day hikes upon request.
The food is amazing with clean, tidy, spacious and well designed rooms.

In one word Gurdum Khaling Homestay is ' excellent'. Very beautiful homestay with beautiful view. The rooms were clean, very comfortable. Food was awesome as well. Prakash, homestay owner was extremely helpful. His behaviour was so friendly that I felt, he is my brother not an unknown person. I would highly recommend this.

Gurdum Khaling Homestay is situated in a serene offbeat location and Prakash Rai is a perfectly amiable host!
We had been there for a day and most of the time we were sitting on the lawn and admiring the scenic view in front of us and never got bored.
Quite recommended for excellent location and service.

An excellent place to stay. The location of this homestay is excellent, one can enjoy the scenic beauty right from the homestay window. Prakash bhai and his family are excellent and one of a kind people. One can stay in this homestay and do small treks in and around Gurdum village, as the village is mesmerizing. One can also stay at tents(on-request) and enjoy barbeque under the stars(awesome). We started our trek to Sandakhphu-Phalut right from this homestay with Prakash bhai as our trek guide. Had an outstanding experience.
