It's very good place and having powerful mandir of Lord Narasimha Swamy. Here jaggery water is famous and healthy also. Visit this place when you are near to Guntur or Mangalagiri.

It is the only place in the state where we worship the God using Jaggery liquid/water. It is a very pleasant temple.

Devotional place with pleasant atmosphere. Lord Narasimha Swamy temple is located here. This is one of the famous temples of lord Narasimha. Panakam is offered to the lord here. The temple is located on hill and there is also a transportation fee to reach temple. There is no special parking place provided to park vehicles but you can park them outside of the temple. One must be very careful while driving the vehicle since its a two way. We have to climb steps to reach lord Devi and Panduranga temple. There is a small cave located on top of hill.

Famous temple in Guntur district with pleasant surroundings. This spiritual place is famous for the "panakam" (syrup made of jaggery) offered to the god here. Must visit place. A small ghat road leads to a sprawling parking space form where you can just walk to the temple. Must visit place.

Became commercial with multiple tokens.

Temple is excellent and pease full.

1. Temple people will ask us to buy tulsi mala and kalakanda which costs 30rs. FYI these are sold by temple people not outside people. This they will directly give along with panakam ticket and asks for 55rs.
2. You need to buy again 5rs ticket for panakam abhisekam, dnt know why they are not charging this when we buy panakam ticket
3. We need to buy bottle for 20rs, thr board says 5rs only, but they say these are fride bottle so it costs 20!!

Overall my experience is awesome, but they need to think of these commercial business.

Sure place to visit if you are in and around vijayawada ,has a great epical story. The name has a word called Panakala which is a sweet watter made from pepper and jaggery. with this the god's idol puja is done and later the water is given to devotes as a token of god's blessings .
There are a lot of monkeys around this place which grab things from you hands so visitors must be careful with them . The city view from the top of the hill is vibrant . The temple closes must faster than any other worship places so this must be visited in the early hours.

There are 3 Lakshmi Narsimha Swamy Temples in Mangalagiri and this one is on the top of the hill. Panakam is a sweet drink made out of jaggery with some spices like cardamom, ginger etc. God takes panakam given by the devotees and devotee is given half of the panakam back. There is a nice view of the town from the top.

This temple is situated on top of the hillock in Mangalagiri. One can reach the hillock by taking a Shared Auto or Taxi from Mangalagiri. You can book to and fro or one side if you want to spend more time in the temple. Charges one way is generally 15 or 20 Rupees.
Narasimhar, Rajalakshmi Thayar, Ranganathar, Anjaneyar’s sanctum is situated on the hill. Panaka Narsimhar Kshetram is supposed to grant mental peace and physical health and Moksham finally. Lord Rama who visited this made Anjaneya reside here permanently.
Panakam made out of jaggery is offered to the deity Narasimhar by the devotees. The offering is directly poured into the mouth of Narasimha. Half of the quantity of the beverage is distributed as prasad. Another strange fact one could experience here is the absence of flies which generally swarm Panakam or its ingredients. Nobody knows how Panakam gets into or leave the Lord’s mouth. By paying a small fee one can get the Panakam from the temple itself. After visiting Narasimhaswamy also have the darshan of Lakshmi. On the left side of Lakshmi Sannadhi you can see Ranganatha and Ramanujacharya in a Cave. Do not miss to have their darshan as well.
The hillock provides a picturesque and lovely of the city and other temples at Mangalagiri.

A very famous Temple and pilgrim place in Magalagiri, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh, dedicated to Sri Panakala Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy.

The devotees offer 'paanakam', a mixture of Jaggery and water as Naiyedyam to the presiding deity.
