The stay has been a very pleasant and memorable one. We stayed there for 2 days and Dr. Devanand and his wife were cordial in welcoming us and treated us like their family members. They prepared awesome food and provided some basic ayurvedic medicines to cure our cold and cough. They have taken us to nearby beaches and we also had a glimpse of Yakshagana which was happening nearby. We felt like our home and each and every need was well taken care of. I really thank them for making the stay a safe, sweet and memorable one. Any family can easily book and enjoy their stay at Tavaru without any hassles. I recommend this stay for anyone who is looking for accommodation near Gokarna. Thank you, very much to Dr. Devanand & family for such a wonderful stay!!

Let me begin with saying how the room was, it was refreshing to see a clean room with all the amenities provided as mentioned on the website with an attached bathroom and dressing room. The owner was so kind and welcoming. The house was situated in a calming environment surrounded by trees and his beautiful garden was splendid. We even had a hotel nearby to have our food. Overall the experience was so satisfying and the best place to stay if you want some peace away from city life.
Disclaimer - you can take the gangawaali bridge if you have a two wheeler and it saves so much time. The bridge is under construction so four wheelers aren't allowed but there are other alternative routes too.

The owners are super friendly and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I really appreciate the extra effort they put into making sure our stay was enjoyable. They also suggested us places to visit and were always around to help us with any questions or issues we had. Overall, I had a great stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a homestay.

The owners are a retired couple. They were the sweetest host we've ever met and made sure it was really a homely stay for us. They recommended places to eat, places to shop, places to visit. They also arranged an auto for us to take us everywhere and were constantly accessible to help us out. They shared personal stories and travel experiences with us as well, making our journey memorable.
The rooms were super clean, comfortable, and spacious. The beds were well made and all the facilities including towels, linens, toiletries, and breakfast were provided. They also made us room for hanging our clothes to dry after they got wet in the rain. They lent us an umbrella when we forgot to carry our own. And invited us to join with them in their card games and conversations. I've travelled to over 60 cities but not seen any warner hospitality than here. The location is close to Ankola bus stand and railway station. Gokarna is also just 7-8 km away.

My stay at this place was awesome, the rooms were very clean, the services were good and the owner was very polite and it was overall an amazing experience. Recommended for anyone who is interested in staying near Gokarna.

The owners are great hosts and went above and beyond to help us see the local POIs and we were made to feel like family during our time with them. I would recommend this homestay to anyone.

Mr. Devanand garu is very friendly. He himself took us to places nearby. Overall we had a great time.
