KANAJA HOMESTAY

In last three days long weekend, we friends explored North Karnataka wherein we booked Kanaja homestay. Kanaja homestay is a beautiful place spreading in many acres. Hospitality was awesome. Surrounding in beautiful natural views. Food, water and adventure activities are marvelous. Over all our experience in Kanaja homestay was outstanding. It's too safe for the family also. So I can suggest visiting this beautiful place called Kanaja homestay.

My mother and her mahila mandali friends had visited this beautiful place yesterday. They were so happy with beautiful and soothing background. My mother and her friends felt the entire experience great and also mind freshing. They were also impressed with the hospitality offered to them. All the activities were fun and entertaining. One can really experience a completely different vibes once visited. The food served was also tasty. Overall its a best place to visit with family and friends. We can really have a great time. I Would recommend everyone to visit this place.

We visited with our child. Had an amazing time. It's such a well maintained close to nature place. The cottages are super cute and hygienic. The food was freshly home cooked. Look no further and visit Kanaja home stay.

It was truly amazing. It's a great place to go with friends. You chill and have fun. They have Neat and clean cottages.The food taste and quality was awesome. Their service was excellent. The people who hosted us were really very nice. We also played some adventure games which were really fun. We all loved it. It was a great experience.

We had very great time @kanaja. The hospitality really gives you a very good comfort of home, good food served with big smile. The variety of fruits plantations we get to see is amazing. Enjoyed the activities set up, the collection of heritage culture is one of my favourite, must visit place for every one.

Amazing stay at Kanaja. We stayed in Machan tents. The farm is fabulous and the Machan tent is a unique experience. Wake up to the chirping of birds, lazily roam around the farm, read a book in a hammock, do some adventure activities in the farm, have delicious food, sing and dance around the camp fire...what else we could ask for in a stay ! The hosts Mr Naik and family took care of every thing we needed. And do not miss the food here. It is too good. Kudos to Deepa, Arpita , Swetha n Bhagirathi for the delicious food. And it is Suggested to have a vehicle by yourself so that commute would not be a prob.

We were a group of 10 people who visited this place. Thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of the owners who took great care. Food served was in naati style specific to that area. Fresh fish cooked in local style added to our delight. Activities were good enough to keep us engaged. Overall a pleasant and enjoyable stay !!

At Kanaja, we had a great relaxing time with family, Thank you for hosting us with such nice care, tasty home cooked food, different activities and good conversations. We didn't feel like we stayed at a homestay but felt like stayed in a friend's house as a guest 🙂
I certainly recommend this place for people who love the serene rustic nature, especially in the middle of western ghats.

Kanaja Homestay is a very good place to stay in a natural atmosphere. We got a very good rural welcome and their hospitality is appreciable. Their traditional food and the ambiance satisfied our desire for a perfect homestay.

Scenic location. We chose this because it's closer to Yana caves compared to Gokarna-Yana.

It was a nice experience staying there. Rich in vintage culture. The food was amazing. Very generous and kind people. They will give importance to humans and humanity, not for money.

Wow .....Khanaja great place to stay.It was the best experience staying there.Location is very beautiful it is amongst nature. very well maintained...Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed. Highlight is musium, very good ancient and traditional collection of beautiful daily household items .I remembered seeing them in my Ajji's collection..

A true Village Homestay, situated in the beautiful & serene set up of the western ghats. During your stay you get to experience the glimpse of rural tradition, culture, food and many more unforgettable memories to carry. The best one is NIGHT JUNGLE TREKKING, Catching STONE CRABS in deep jungle is an experience of a lifetime. The hospitality and home cooked food, adventure rope activities and village ambience were great. My family had a great time. Thank you Team Kanaja.

The stay was fantastic the rooms were pretty clean. The owner was very courteous to attend all our queries even if we were troubling him early morning. Food there just tastes like home food which is very tasty. The place is in between mango farm and bit far from gokarna so make you follow prashanth(owner) instructions if you are coming by bus. Prashanth also went out of the way and arranged an auto as we had been charged hefty price when we travelled from gokarna to kanaja homestay.

Came here on work, the owners are really warm, approachable people. Phone internet is quite decent, food is homemade and healthy.
About 25 kms from Gokarna, and they arrange for two wheelers too!

Very chill, hospitable people with good conversations. Set in a private farm, surrounded by orchads and paddy fields.

Rooms are quaint and clean. Would recommend for students.

We had a wonderful time at Kanaja homestay. The hospitality, food, cleanliness, rope activities and village ambience were great. It is highly recommended for those who want a peaceful stay and also for those who are interested in photography, bird watching etc. Though it's a bit far from Gokarna city, the distance is complemented by a pleasant and peaceful stay.

Being born and bought up in a home which is in a Western Ghats of Karnataka, getting impressed with another similar home is not a common thing!! Yes I'm mentioning this because the way the KANAJA Home stay in our district. It is very near by Ankola town and has connectivity from the highway from Hubli and from Kumata side as well.. It is situated in such a wonderful place that one can enjoy the Village atmosphere, visit near by beaches, Yana rocks, river side and enjoy the great food of local. Also the owner of the place Dr. Sanju Naik has made a very beautiful arrangements to make us and our new generation children to see and understand our culture from old days with all the old stuffs related to agriculture, cooking, cattle and child care. When I say children, I have to mention the rope games and other adventure games in the home stay. It is safe , handled by will trained guys and it is nevertheless the ones in Bangalore resorts!! With those games we can enjoy cricket and volleyball too.. such a wonderful place to spend time with family!! Last but not the least, the food served is very nice, options may be limited now but it's delicious... Over all Dr. Sanju Naik and his brother takes care of the guest by making time in their busy schedule. I and my family spent wonderful 3 nights and day and it will be memorable one.. Thank you Team for this Eco Homestay.

An unforgettable experience it was. Many interesting activities like rope climbing, rope line and exotic stay in the nature. Absolutely loved it. Its a must visit stay with your family or friends or close ones.
