I have had chicken from so many places and Karim's franchises but this original Karim's beat anyone anytime.

Best food I have ever had. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

If you’re coming to Delhi, you must visit Karim’s. If you’re there, you must order mutton korma, mutton, stew , mutton Nihari and mutton burra is must. The quality of mutton is amazing. Mutton melt in your mouth. It’s so fabulous too tasty.

Chicken biryani is not good.

Indulged in mutton korma, mutton stew, mutton seekh kabab, and kheer – incredibly flavorful! Tender meat with a rich, fatty gravy, and generous portion sizes. A must-try when you visit / are near Jama Masjid!

When visiting Delhi, real Mughlai cuisine is a must. The atmosphere was serene, filled with aromas and cheerful smiles. Despite the long wait, no one appeared exhausted, annoyed, or irritated. The meal is wonderful and one-of-a-
kind. Aside from Qorma, Naan, and Seekh
Kebab, one should order the Barra,
which comes in both chicken and
mutton varieties. The service was excellent, and I would strongly advise you not to miss this restaurant under any circumstances.
Try the Phirni or Kheer. Not too sweet... and what a way to end the meal! Looking forward to visit this place again.

Karim located in Old Delhi is a famous mughlai food restaurant operating since 1913. They are famous for their tandoori dishes and their specialty is non veg items. The biryani here was ok 👌 however I must say their tandoori roti and chicken stew was something that i hadn't tasted before. The taste was so unique and new and tasty 😋🤤 . Chicken stew can be this tasty! It was unimaginable. And the roti itself was something you can eat it without any accompaniment . Their biryani portion was huge enough for too people because they give you good meat portions and one egg cut in halves. Their chicken burma ( some sort of tandoori- not sure of the spelling) is also pretty good and a famous item here. Overall it's a good experience and it's worth the hype. The restaurant is totally packed all throughout the day .

They don't accept upi payment ( in our visit they had said so) so either carry cash or card.

The place is inside an ally and it was a bit difficult to locate it at first, but the locals were helpful and you can ask anybody for the exact location ( opposite to jama masjid)

I have been going to this place since the last 28 years for mutton korma and mutton burra which is my favourite with tandoori roti.
You can also try chicken stew, tandoori mutton ran, brain curry etc.
Vegetarian options are less so you can try shahi paneer which is slightly sweet in the test and very Creamy.

I recently dined at Karim's Hotel, and it was an extraordinary food experience. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the roti, mutton korma and mutton nahari, which were, without a doubt, the best I've ever had in my life. Yes, it might be a bit on the expensive side, but every bite was worth every penny.

Karim's Hotel offers a truly authentic and well-prepared menu that pays homage to its rich culinary heritage. The flavors are a testament to their dedication to preserving traditional recipes. I was truly impressed with the quality and taste of their dishes.

The mutton korma was out of this world, and the mutton nihari was a symphony of flavors, beautifully enhanced by the rich and aromatic spices used. It's evident that their chefs have mastered the art of creating exquisite dishes that leave a lasting impression.

What's even more fascinating is the historical connection - knowing that their ancestors were part of the Mughal royal kitchen adds a layer of charm and authenticity to the dining experience. This lineage shines through in every dish they serve.

In conclusion, Karim's Hotel is a culinary gem that I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. Yes, it might be a bit pricey, but the quality, authenticity, and flavors of their dishes make it an absolute must-try. I'll definitely be returning to savor more of their incredible cuisine. Hats off to Karim's Hotel for serving such amazing food!

I made the journey all the way from Qatar to Delhi with one mission—to savor the delights of Karim's restaurant near Delhi Jama Masjid. Tucked a bit away from the street, this gem surpassed all my expectations. A bit of patience is in order because you might have to wait for a seat but trust me, it's worth it.

The must-try items? Mutton Burra and Chicken Jahangeer are absolute winners, and don't even get me started on their cold Kheer—it's a game-changer. The ambiance takes you back to the charm of old Mughal streets, adding an extra layer to the whole dining experience.

And here's a little secret—don't miss out on their Seekh Kebabs and Nihari. If you're a true foodie, Karim's is practically a pilgrimage that you just have to make at least once in your life.

Being vegetarian, I was sceptical regarding this place. But they provided great paneer roll with very polite attitude. Loved taste, atmosphere and service.

Oaw! Excellent tasty food they have.
You need a nice combination among of their foods. So, don't hesitate to get suggestions from waiters otherwise you will regret.
A little bit expensive that hotel from my perspective compared to Delhi's food expenses.
However taste was fabulous.

Karim's is a must visit place when in Delhi. We had chicken burra and chicken chingeshi with khamir roti. Overall you get decent food.

I went there ready to be underwhelemed given how "overhyped" Karim's is in Delhi. But it was so worth it. We tried Chicken Biryani and Mutton Nahari with Khameeri Roti. Both were absolutely delicious!

The place has that raw vintage vibe. The narrow street gives a glimpse of its name and instantly draws you to the time of Old Delhi.
We had Mutton Korma and it was tasty and rich. Mutton Nihari is yumm! and silky smooth. Their Seekh Kebab literally melts in the mouth. Service is also good once you place the order the food comes within 5-10min.

We always try to visit Karim whenever we are in Delhi. The food they serve is the best. The place is little difficult to find and there are many restaurants around so people get confused or fail to find it.

This time around we had chicken shami kebab and Nehari. Both were mouth watering dishes as usual.

We came here with no expectations and it was a really great treat! Authentic, genuine atmosphere and food and the people are so nice. The other local clientele were nice and the service was quick. Don't believe any hype, it's an average local place and that's what makes it good. Just enjoy the neighborhood and break from the crowds.

Probably the filthiest place I've ever eaten at.

Tastiest chicken curry, mutton seekh kebab, khameeri roti I've ever had.

Not sure about the atmosphere, waited around 15 mins to get a table and another 15 minutes till they came to get order.
But the food was amazing and all the wait felt worth it. The place is always crowded (went on a Sunday) and Me and my friends were having a blast enjoying the dishes.
One suggestion, we ordered Naan but that was too Stuffed and after a while it became too hard. So order more Rumali Roti and less Naan, you are set (Just my personal preference)
