A nice simple college. Teachers are very helpful. Students of this college are always engaged in studies and extracurricular activities. Entire staff is helpful. Proper implement of knowledge. Practicals are taken very appropriately.Students can enjoy the practicals with no any pressure. Teachers supply appropriate information as well as help and support during practicals.

Many memories of college life to cherish for lifetime. A great grand campus of this college includes the ARTS COMMERCE & SCIENCE streams too.Canteen too was quite good! Must have definitely improvised by now. The VPM holds good academic records through its travel from successive years !!! Teaching staffs are well experienced well qualified!.Lively atmosphere and student buzz fills the campus , turning it into like happening place.

B. N. Bandodkar College of Science situated in the campus famous by the name of Thana College. The college has facility to persue even higher education upto PhD from standard eleventh.

The college has got excellent reputation of being one of the oldest science education institute in the area. I was part of college and passed my HSC in 1995. Students not only from Thane but also from other far flung areas like Ambernath, Kalyan, Dombivli and almost from all surrounding area would try to get admission to this college due to its reputation. The merit list used to be very high to get admission.

There is no much difference in infrastructure of the college since then. Still remember the time-pass katta of the college and that is Hollywood, the place near Khaadi from where the open khaadi and trains can be seen.

Best college must go it is surronded with 16 acres of land and the principal is very friendly teachers are very good there are many festivals in this college very good mangement this is the best college in mumbai must take admission

Each building divided for education department Lots of place big grounds for students and also their is garden for students college. Safff is very helpful. They treat the student very polite. Thank you

Vidya Prasarak Mandal's (V.P.M.'s)Polytechnic is an institute for technical education in Thane, Maharashtra, India. It was founded in 1983, by Vidya Prasarak Mandal(VPM), Thane, a public education trust. The late Dr. V.N. Bedekar is one of the founder members of this institute. V.P.M.'s Polytechnic produces skilled technicians. In 1956, the birth centenary year of Lokmanya Tilak, a young doctor named DR. V. N.Bedekar from Vile Parle started his practice in Thane. Inspired by Lokmanya's efforts in academic field, he joined Vidya Prasarak Mandal and soon became its President. He dreamed of creating an "Island Of Knowledge" (Janyandweepa) in Thane. Till his death (at the age of 85), he guided the institute. After his death, his son Dr. Vijay Bedekar became the President.
