I went here for Annual health checkup. It was a good experience. Reception staff, doctors, assistants and ward boys all of them were vey cooperative and helpful. Food in the canteen was also hygienic and tasty. Overall a good experience.
One recommendation-
Can improve in seating arrangement outside radiology dept. We had to wait there for long time without any place to sit.

It's a well managed hospital. Entrance to hospital is on service road and not too busy. There is enough parking available. Easy wheelchair access is there.
Security and assistants are cooperative.
Overall OPD experience has been really good. It's a clean, neat and well maintained place.
Most of mediclaim options available...and fast claim settlement.

This is going to be a long post but I really want to share my past 3 years experience with Chellaram and Dr Unnikrishnan Sir
I got referred to Dr. Unnikrishnan Sir by my another doctor after got positive with diabetes.
I was quite disheartened as in my early 30 I got diagnosed with diabetes like disease. But when I 1st mate Dr. Unikrishan Sir we gave me lots of positive vibe. He guided me through all my pre and during pregnancy.
Chellaram has very good quality of service. They have given me 24*7 support. After my 1st consultation they created a WhatsApp group with Sir him self , Jr doctor, diabetes educator and dietitian.
They are really become blessing for me.

I don't have enough words to thank him for all his support and positive vibe . One thing is you are meeting him because you are ill, but in other hands he will make you feel so confident that just follow the routine you will be all good. Diabetes is just something you need to control with lifestyle changes. He made me relaxed and provideed personal guidance. He is a very busy Man but he always replied me and helped me with my sickness as well as mental health.

It's a multispeciality hospital. Mainly for diabetic people. This hospital also have all types of doctors from general physicians to specialist. It's a huge hospital of 6-7 floors spread widely.

My daughter was admitted in Chellaram for one week , today afternoon she was discharged. All the staff members are very good and cooperative. Me and my husband were alone , no family members were with us..so many times me and my daughter had emotional break downs the mausi , mamas, nurses and doctors gave so much emotional support just like my family.. All staff members have a smiling face. I really appreciate the doctors who came for room visits and answers all our queries... specially want to thank some staff members... sister sashikala, sudhan, tanuja, shradda and day and night mausi. The canteen workers were also supportive. I would also like to thank Dr. Unnikrishnan sir who was very supportive and is a very down to earth personality.

I am writing this review to express my gratitude and appreciation for Doctor Prashant Bhalekar, who treated my mother for cancer at Chellaram hospital. He is not only an expert in his field, but also a kind and empathetic person who went out of his way to perform his duties. He always explained the treatment options and procedures clearly and patiently, and answered all our questions and concerns. He also provided emotional support and comfort to my mother and our family during this difficult time. He was always available and responsive, and treated my mother with dignity and respect. Even though my mother succumbed to cancer, his presence really helped us cope with the loss. I had a great experience with Dr Manish Bothale Sir and Parita Gujjar Mam. In my pregnancy journey I had diagnosed with diabetes. With help of Dr Manish sir’s expertise and Parita mam’s diet advice I have able to managed my suger level throughout my pregnancy and delivered a healthy child.

We have taken consultation from the endocrinologist Dr. Unnikrishnan A.G. He is very co-operative and guides well. Other staff also co-operative and helpful.

Staff is veri supportive. Best hospital for diabetes care with various Multispeciality service.
All doctors are very intelligent and helpful.

On Sunday 23 August 2023 suddenly I became unwell and brought to Chellaram hospital. To be frank I was hesitant to come here. I was not very sure what treatment I will be getting . It was pleasure and surprised for me that I recie.ved very cordially and with great love and affection . All nurses ,attendants and others indeed gave personal attention and Dr. In charge smiling welcomed me and arranged my stay. The room is clean and allowed a comfortable bed. It was very great experience here. That help me to come back at normal .

Chelaram Hospital is highly professional and managed things very well. When u entered the premises you will feel safe and energized as they have good Facility and infrastructure. Reception desk at first floor handled by twp ladies are too much cooperative and they are guiding patient very well. I have gone through my routine annual medical health check up and got prestigious treatment while doing all tests and consultation too. Dr. Manish was also very nice person and guided very well.

Our experience at Chellaram in tending to my 80+ mother has been rather refreshing. Many a so called reputed hospitals, have difficulties on the ground, to deliver adequate level of ownership, care and resolutions , given the volume of patients and skill levels of medical staff. Happy that we chose Chellaram to diagnose and nurse my mother with breathing difficulties - credit largely due to Dr Prashant Bhalekar from iCU for taking complete ownership to calmly diagnose and resolve serious situations, act swiftly, and build rapport with patient to suggest comprehensive care plans. With his swift interventions and the overall support from Chellaram, led by Dr Veda, we are very satisfied to have entrusted Aai's care and recovery to Chellaram. Best hospital I have visited for the diabetes treatment. Dr. Unnikrishnan Sir, Dr. Manish Bothale Sir, Dietician Rutuja Mam have guided us throughout the treatment period. They patiently answered all our queries and cleared all our doubts whenever we visited the hospital and on a call also. They monitored the glucose level of my wife throughout her pregnancy period and guided us over a WhatsApp group which is very very appreciable since they haven't charged us any fee for that which is very very rare. This also shows that they care for the patient more than the money.

All medical expertise are par excellence and very genuinely guide the patient. It is certainly a different hospital from all those so called corporate hospitals. Non medical staff is very disciplined and ready to co-operate.
Canteen facility is also excellent. Very hygienic and provide fresh tasty food.
Only one suggestion that senior citizens who are without medical insurance should be moderately charged.
