This tiny cafe offers the moistest cakes with the freshest buttercream icing. Also, on offer are plum cakes, chocolate, strawberry, blueberry, black forest pastries, flaky puffs, soft sandwiches, baked samosas et al, all with pocket friendly price tags. A must visit cafe when you are in Shillong.

Great cakes and ice cream float loved it.

A small cafe with varieties of delicious snacks, cakes, drinks and coffee in Police bazar street. I have been a regular customer here for last few months and loved their taste.

A good place for a quick bite and a cup of tea or coffee.
The location is perfect, easily accessible especially when you're in a rush. This cafe is good, the snacks are good and tasty too 😋👌

Affordable and good .. But it was not a very great experience.

I recently ordered a plain cake and cheese straws from STEP UP CAFE via Swiggy, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon receiving my order, it became evident that the items provided were not freshly baked as expected. In fact, they seemed to be around 10 days old, which was highly disappointing.

The plain cake lacked the freshness and moistness one would expect from a recently baked item. Instead, it had a stale taste and texture, indicating that it had been sitting around for quite some time. Similarly, the cheese straws were not up to par; they lacked the crispy, flaky texture of freshly baked pastries and had a noticeable staleness to them.

As a customer, I value quality and freshness when it comes to food, especially baked goods. Unfortunately, STEP UP CAFE failed to meet these expectations with their outdated offerings. While I appreciate the convenience of ordering through Swiggy, I cannot overlook the subpar quality of the items provided by this cafe.

Overall, my experience with STEP UP CAFE in Police Bazar was disappointing, and I would not recommend it to others seeking fresh and delicious baked goods.

Very bad place to buy food .... Just bought a chicken sandwich and believe me guys there was only one small piece of shredded chicken .. rest all meyonnaise... Also bought a chicken samosa but it smelled of something like medicine.. Never buy stuffs from this place ... Worst

After the review I thought it would be nice to visit once, I'm sorry to say but I had a bad experience.. your burger was really bad . The bun was tasteless and there was no taste of chicken inside and the pizza had more of capsicum rather than chicken. I only liked the chicken patties. Please add cheese in the burger, thank you.

The attendant needs to learn some good lessons on attending to customers.
The attitude of behaving as if he is serving for free needs some immediate correction.

I went there couple of days back and tried cup cake and filled bun that was pathetic and when I told the person about it he said we get it from somewhere else and was least bothered about what customer is saying. I even felt like puckish after having that.
