Zak's Irani Cafe

Tucked under the basement of Regal Plaza, a very cosy cafe that's patronized mostly by collegeians. It has a smoking place outside the cafe which has 3 tables and can accommodate around 12 persons. The masala cheese omelette is worth trying. The inside of the cafe can only seat 4 persons. The Zak cafe (Zaheer Khan) serves fast food like egg varieties and noodles. Coffee and tea along with cold coffee and iced tea is also served.

A beautiful and quaint place tucked away from the bustling roads around Lok Puram and Hiranandani Meadows.

The ambiance is complemented by the simple but delectable Irani food. The best part of this place is the easy-going lull of conversation, the unexpected privacy and the kind and jovial owner's company.

Recommendations... Do not miss the coffee, their malai-jam-toast and literally anything with eggs innit. A surprising favourite of mine is their Suleimani tea. I'm not a huge fan of tea, but this one I love to have!

This gem of a hangout spot, is concealed behind Regal Plaza. Away from the hustle of the busy Gladys Alwares Road. It's exactly what you need when all you want is some peace. The quiet surroundings, and the beautiful locale that Lokpuram is, only adds to the charm of this place.
Why go here?
Because it's the ONLY Irani café around Thane. The Irani chai and Bread Malai Jam sandwich and you're good to go.
Recently come up with a lot of variety. Still haven't been able to try out all the dishes on the menu.
More importantly, the primary reason why I love this place is ever so charming Zakir Uncle, the owner of this enchanting café, who'll melt your heart with his contagious smile. And who'll make sure you'll never feel bored. Who brings back the much needed interaction with the owners, which other places in Thane don't offer anymore.
Must, must visit!

You should definitely try peach iced tea and grilled chicken sandwich..even wraps are great..
