Hideaway Cafe

Pros:
1) good vibes
2) good food, i have tried chicken chow, momo, burger, fries, rolls.... All aove avarage.
3) good service
4) very reasonable cost... specially for college students.
5) 2 wheeler parking available by the road side. However car parking depends on the rush.
Cons: I just hope they cut down the single use plastic packaging for online deliveries and package food.

Favorite Restaurant in Shillong for a Reason , very nice atmosphere, Food is really good , Vibes are 🔥 But lost the person by whom i got to know about this place. You are not here but your memories are , Will miss you ❤

The Hideaway Cafe really hides well even though it is located bang next to some of the premiere colleges in the city.
I entered the cafe without much expectations. The outside looked like a normal everyday fast food eatery or cafe. Once I entered inside I was amazed at how well the interiors were & infact how big the place was. I was expecting a one room dining with a kitchen but this had 3 rooms. The menu was also pretty exhaustive. I wanted to try their seekh kebab roll however they had ran out of it. It was close to 9pm so totally understandable. So I asked for a Shwawarma Roll instead without mayo. The Shwawarma was really nice. The Rumali roti was thin & soft & the roll was not the biggest either but matched it's price. One big mistake was that I should have asked a bit of mayo. No mayo also was a bad idea. Prices were ok & service was good.
Anyway the Hideaway Cafe turned out to be a Hidden Jewel and I will look forward to trying more items from this place in future.

I really like this cafe. Great juicy burger. Best I’ve had in Meghalaya. We ordered the Hakuna matata burger. They use the good brioche buns. Top class.
I love the soups here. Try the wonton soup. Excellent.
Shawarma is not the best. It’s ok only.
Good atmosphere nice music and a good pop culture theme.

The place is such a vibe and especially the third room🥺 and the food is fireeeeeee!!! The taste and flavour exceeded my expectation 100/10. Loved it!

Cozy and calm environment. Good food....really good food. Good music. Good service. A brilliant superhero theme and football theme. Student's affordable.

The ambience is so good that if you are alone, you won't get bored. The food is tasty too... You will definitely try goin everytime after you visit the cafe once.

It's a cosy place to sip in some good coffee and tasty food.

But one thing that wrecked my heart was amongst all the football club banners, I couldn't find an Arsenal banner.
Dear Managing team, if you're reading this please do arrange a special place for an Arsenal FC Banner. 😅😅

And the Batman wall hanging is super cool!

Love the place with its decor and ambience. The food is great too, with its speacialty burgers really tasty. Can never say no to burgers from here!

Awesome food.. tried Hakuna Matata, The F-word, The Unagi Burger ------- was yum for sure.... Not a Burger fan but can't Say No to Burgers from here.

Great place for superhero fanatics, it serves great food and a good place to chil. Located near a college you'll mostly find college students chilling here.

This place is really a hidden gem. Enjoyed our piping hot juicy momos along with a game of Zenga!

It's good eatery for young and old alike. The dumplings are great.
