5 stars aren't enough to rate the location of this place. The experience of staying in a palace with a view soooo mesmerizing.

However, service can be improved.

Our stay at the palace was beyond amazing. The rooms were super luxurious, comfortable and spacious. Their hospitality was top notch. Breakfast and dinner were scrumptious and hygienic too. Very warm welcome by Ms. Priyanka. Mr Sandeep helped us during check-in and check-out. The view was spectacular. I can't describe that with the help of words. It was amazing. Staying at Prakash palace will definitely give you a royal experience. Highly recommended!!!!!

Checked in today, fantastic palace-Hotel, having visited many Taj hotels-palaces and other top hotel chains, I must say this one really does impress when it comes down to views and location.

Attentive and courteous service.

The star however, for us was when we asked to meet the executive Chef Hemant Rematiya, a fourth Generation culinary maestro, upon which he very kindly and humbly catered for all our culinary requests, and prepared us a very authentic meal.

Needless to say our family thoroughly enjoyed their meals, and will be returning for another visit!

This is a fabulous old structure maintained as a beautification lakeside hotel. The views were great from the room overlooking the lake. Breakfasts were the best, and we enjoyed several exceptional dinners at the onsite restaurant.

We had a 2 night stay at this former palace converted into a luxury hotel and managed by the Taj group. The rooms are lovely and furnished exquisitely with original furnishings from the Maharana of Mewar’s own collection. The service is superb and the food at the Sunset terrace is excellent. Special thanks to the F & B manager Mr Hemant Sharma and his staff for taking such wonderful care of all the guests. The personalized attention given to every guest is phenomenal! The executive chef Hemant is a fourth generation chef with previous generations working for the royal family. Would strongly recommend this place and hope to come back soon

Of the many Taj hotels this one is special. Spectacular and yet peaceful Sunset view of Lake Pichola sets the mood. Relax, rejoice in the beauty of nature, pampered by all the staff, fed by superb Chefs. Truly a Palace. Linger a few days for Udaipur has a lot to see.

Had the best room with the best view and the best hospitality. Huge shoutout to Bhawna at the reception for her cheerful smile. And other notable staff members that made our staff hassle-free were Ravi, Bhagirath and Sandeep

Taj Fateh Prakash Palace is like stepping into a fairytale – a palace turned hotel where our journey began with the friendliest welcome at reception from Bhawna, Sandeep, and Pooja. We were allocated a beautiful room facing lake Pichola with breathtaking views.

The Sunset Terrace Restaurant was a highlight, offering lunch and dinner with stunning lake views. Big shoutout to Abhishek who served us at lunch, high tea and dinner making our dining experience extra special. The whole place radiates tranquility, making it the perfect escape.

The breakfast was at the Sunset Terrace offering wide variety of Indian and English breakfast.

We really loved this hotel and will definitely return again.

It was my first stay and it was amazing with beautiful view of taj lake palace.The boy who did our check in was so polish and friendly.(sorry name I don’t remember).Dinner was just wow and staff are kind and helpful.Before Check out I want to spa just to look around where I meet with one lady (therapist)she is friendly. Finally Puja at reception help us with buggy.Thank you all.

It was a nice experience staying out there, the location is good, the ambience is superb and the hospitality of the staff was amazing. Looking forward to stay in hotel again.

It is situated in the city palace premises. Great view and an excellent to stay in. The intricate paintings everywhere inside the hotels is mesmerizing. I had an excellent stay for 5 nights. Special mention for Gaj Singh ji, Deville ji, Ravi, Bhavana & Mr. Santosh.
Mr. Nair made sure we had a comfortable stay from the 1st day itself.
Jagdish temple, Gangour Ghat, Karni Mata temple Ropeway is very nearby.
Food wise it is a perfect place with a view.
U should definately try their Dal Bati Churma, Lal Maas, ker sangri. Special mention for Balu ji, Pawan, Ramesh ji, Kartik chef from the f&b team.

An absolute mesmerizing experience staying at this palace/hotel. Really great rooms , excellent service and fabulous location. I highly recommend atleast having one meal at the sunset terrace.

We stayed here for one night. Overall experience was really good. Rooms are well maintained with good interior and the window of the room was my favourite place to sit. You have a beautiful view of lake from the window
