It is a small hill and excellent for climbing with kids. The path begins after you walk into the temple. It proceeds to a cave and a route left of the cave. It takes 25 minutes in that route through fields, jungles and thin ledges, guided by various idols of Anjeneya and the hand rails installed by the authorities. The cave is spacious and the view from the top is spectacular. My kid loved the climb.

It is really a great and thrilling place of ooty.. you will find very less review but believe me its really worth. This is a small temple in cave dedicated to Hanuman. There is Hanuman Statue inside the cave. The view from this place is awesome. Different posture of Lord Hanuman are found on the way to Hanuman Cave Temple which is located near Valley View point OOTY.
Various posture sculptures of Lord Hanuman are placed about a kilometer distance on main road side which bends up to Hanuman Cave Temple.
The caves have Hanuman temple which was neatly kept. The caves inside is too dark and scary. The view from top is just fantastic u will love it.
There is a small trek of about 1 km to Hanuman caves gives you slight thrilling experience. The caves have Hanuman temple which was neatly kept. the caves had bats also on the roof so it's bit a scary but still thrilling. Its a must visit place and you are really going to love this. Its an off beat place here generally local people come here and not popular among the tourist. If you start your sight seen this will be the first. You are going to love the trekking. There will be no fees to visit this caves. But you will not find temple open all the time

Peace, adventure, trekking, spirituality, whatever you’re looking for, you’ll find it here. One of the rarest gems you’ll ever find in Ooty. It’s a trek to the top of a mountain with Hamunan statues lined all along the way.

On the main road, it will feel like a small temple, just outside the Ooty town, on way to Coonoor.. but you have to park the car on roadside and through temple go behind and start your trek to the Hanuman cave...
We didn't go till the cave, but the road is less trodden and there is usually no fellow trekker.. not trying to frighten you, but if you are a group of 2 3 or more people, definitely do pay a visit there...

Mind you, people only go till the Hanuman Ji's idols, bit do cross that plateau and go till the top, caves are there...I dint go till caves so I don't have those photos, but definitely have some breathtaking views from the top.. enjoy!
