Very small airport with limited facilities here. Now much flights come here but it has made convenient to reach gwalior city. U can get taxi and auto rickshaw outside the airport.

hassle free airport... very safe...easy on kids

It’s not huge airport but find the good connectivity with other city specially Delhi

Photos inside airport is not allowed, as it is air force controlled airport.
One of the smallest airports in India.
Security check and other activities are very quick.
Only has domestic flights, for international Delhi is the easiest option.
Try to prebook autos from before. Ola uber doesn't work here at all.

It's very Small...No Lounge were there..So everyone before u have togo there Take ur meals along with..else u have to make sure is it Started or Not...Gwalior is a Defence Airport so any type of photography is Not Allowed..It's on Expansion Mode..Lots of Work is going on..I hope very Soon It's working on Full Capacity...

Small sized defence airport allowed for civil operations. Only spicejet operates as on 22 April, 2021. Very near to Gola ka Mandir.

It's an army airport. Very small one. Everything is manually. Only one gate is there. But its in very high security. Clean and friendly airport.

I recently flew into Gwalior Airport and was pleased with the experience. The airport is small and relatively quiet, but the staff were friendly and welcoming.

The security checks were quick and efficient, and the waiting areas were clean and comfortable. Although there aren't many food or beverage options available, the airport does have a small snack bar and convenience store for travelers to purchase snacks and drinks.

One downside of the airport is the lack of Wi-Fi or charging stations, which can make it difficult for travelers to stay connected or keep their devices charged during layovers.

Overall, I would recommend Gwalior Airport for those traveling to or from the area. While it may not offer the same level of amenities and services as larger airports, it is clean, efficient, and offers a hassle-free travel experience.

The airport is small but sufficient, it is clean and has got all necessary facilities. There is a coffee shop inside which has wide variety of snacks to choose from.

I would however like to dedicate this review to the Indigo staff. We were a group of 10 travelling together and 3 of us weren’t carrying our original ids, (2 of which were children). Since this is an Air Force base, rules were being followed more strictly but the staff supported us 100 percent. We were worried about what would happen and if we will be able to get inside but they were so assuring and finally got inside.

One of the best staffs ever! The whole process was so smooth. Unfortunately, I didn’t get any of their names but they were all female staff and special mention to the floor manager, she helped us tremendously throughout till we passed the security check.

Very efficient staff, there was a large group of young girls from under 15 cricket team (2-3 teams) and a group of 100 people going for hajj but they managed everything really well without any chaos.

Gwalior Airport is Best Airport✈ Very Neat and Clean

Good enough for a Tier 2 city airport. Easy checkin, good waiting area with a small cafeteria for quick bite, reasonable pricing. Clean washrooms. New terminal building in the making - 2025.

Finally I got my first flight from Gwalior to indore.. Hope gwalior will be develop soon

Even if it's a small airport it's maintained & managed well.

This is a small airport with full accessibility for person with and without disability. Wheelchair accessible washroom facilities available. Transportation facilities available. photography is not allowed due to security reasons. Low crowded. Runway is very close so boarding gate is near. Beautiful garden available outside. Very less parking fees. Coffee shop available.

Gwalior Airport is a civil enclave airport located at the Maharajpur Air Force Station which is at a distance of 10 Kilometers to the north-east of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India. It is also known as the Rajmata Vijaya Raje Scindia Air Terminal and comes under the four major airports of the state of Madhya Pradesh.

This is a base station so you will not get the cool ambience and facilities like other airports.

Photography is strictly prohibited after you enter the premises.
