Pochera Water Falls

A beautiful place to visit with family and sometimes hangout with friends also. Water is flowing at a nominal pace on non-rainy days. But the flow may get worse in the good rainy season, so everyone should be careful to get into the water. The government has placed fencing to avoid the accidental fall down so don't cross the barriers.
The government has also developed a park place and seating area to spend quality time with the beautiful waterfall view.
Parking is available with limited space and the charges are Rs. 20 per vehicle. Entry tickets have to be bought with Rs. 20 for each adult. A small general store is available at the entrance with some quick bytes, water bottles, soft drinks and chocolates. Beware of monkeys and don't carry the food in open hands.

Beautiful waterfalls. Must visit with family in rainy season. Though there is not much height but the view is beautiful.

It as an amazing and beautiful waterfall. It will be liked by all age groups. It will be better if you see that in rainy season. I went there on Oct but as it was rainy during those days, the waterfall looked so beautiful. We can have a bath over there. It will be an amazing experience. Good place for nature lovers and photographers. You can have lots of fun. The rock might be slippery be aware of that. You have to be very careful. But don't get tensed it not much danger, you just have to be careful that's it.

We can lots of fun there. I didn't wish to go back. I felt like I need some more time to enjoy. It was my one of the best experience. It was an awesome day.

We visited in Aug 2023 though the water falls is too good kind of very pleasant and we have spent more time at this place with baby and as early as possible in the morning hours is suggestible to visit this place

From Hyderabad it is hardly 4-5 hours ride, road way is awesome. One can enjoy the ride. Pochera Water Falls is must visit place. I have visited it in the month of January. In the rainy season waterfalls will be more beautiful I think. One can visit with family and friends. Very spacious, for photo lovers this place is a treat. Water falls directly above us, which is cool experience. Suggestions: Fibre Slippers will help you to avoid slip/skid on the slippery surface. It is near to NH44, hardly 5-6 KMS from the NH44. Very easy to locate. Maps will help you to reach the correct destination. We prepared food at home and visited this place and had fun eating lunch with the family. Monkeys are crazy they won’t let you to have lunch.

Pochera Water Falls in Adilabad district of Telangana State. Near to NH44 and 40km from Nirmal town and 260km from Hyderabad. Beautiful water falls, one should visit in rainy season. These pictures taken in December.

Very good water fall, especially when in that area (Nirmal and around). The road was too good, with rains and clouds, it was a memorable drive. Road instructions are clear or even Maps would take you to the falls. Small detour from NH44, but just 4kms inside to the falls. Because of monsoon, water was too much and too forceful. Their staff was around ensuring no one enters the water. The look of the flow and sound of water was thrilling. A must visit place in monsoon time

The Pochera Waterfalls are classified as plunge waterfalls and fall from a height of twenty meters. The small streams of River Godavari are the source of this waterfall, and these streams gradually breaks away as they flow over the Sahyadri Mountain Range. Pochera waterfall has an emerald, green colored tinge, due to the granite rock bed. Situated amidst dense forests, this waterfall is a popular tourist attraction in Telangana and India.

It's a very beautiful waterfall, must be visited during monsoon and immediately after rains. There is little possibility to take a complete dip, but we can enjoy and get drenched by walking in the waters or by going near to the falls. Waterfalls route is connected to Nagpur highway, it was very good except for the last few KMs which was narrow and muddy.
There is a view point from which waterfalls can be seen, but the real fun is to climb down a bit and reaching the waterfalls spot. There is ample parking space and a small shop selling ice creams, cool drinks and juices, better to carry your own food if planning for long stay.
Ideally, one can spend around 1-2 hours here and then head to Kuntala waterfalls

Wonderful place. Worth visiting. Played with water and lot of fun.

This place is near kuntala waterfalls and approximately five kilometres from it. Playing in water is not dangerous.

Approximately it is 280 kilometres from Hyderabad. 4 hours and 30 minutes drive by car.

Pros: nice waterfalls. Reasonably safe to play in water.

Cons: no near by hotels. Please carry food. Lot of monkeys

Suggested near by places: Kuntala, Sri ram Sagar dam for people coming from Hyderabad it is on the way

Lovely water falls, amazing views, amazing location. Water flows all around the year. Entry ticket is 10 rupees, parking for a car is 50 rupees.

It is just about 6 Kms from the popular Kuntala waterfall. While kuntala is a bigger waterfall, it takes about 500 steps to reach the base of the fall and it would take some toll on your body to take the steeper steps back up. That makes it difficult for the elderly people.

Unlike kuntala, pochera waterfall is small. But it does present a good view and more importantly is easily accessible with just a few steps walk. Though unsafe like any waterfall is, there is small downpour on the side that is easily accessible. People of all ages can enjoy in the water here and the continuous flow of water helps in terms of water being clean.

Obviously, monsoon is the right time. The road from Hyderabad is as good as you can get in India. Good roads will clear reflective sign boards to make night driving safer too.

All in all, this Is one of the best one-day getaways in Telangana.

Good food availability is a problem. Not many options, not just nearby but also on the way from Hyderabad. Suggest to either carry home made food or plan to cook your own food (I have seen most ppl traveling with family go for this).

Very beautiful place. The falls have just started. The garden there is a good place to hangout, for family picnic. Pleasant place. Green all around. The road till this place is very good. Very near from highway. There is a small shop at the entrance of the garden, which sells snacks and cool drinks. U have to take your food along with u.

Good place to enjoy with family, the children will enjoy the bath under the water fall. Less risky and worth a visit

Place to visit only in rainy season... there is no entry ticket .. only security will be here that too when water flow is heavy... dangerous because at some point there will be more depth.. below r the photos taken on 3/8/2019...from here if u travel 15km u can visit one more water falls called kuntala.. and 40km to kanakoi waterfalls ... go to kanakoi water falls only when water flow is less ....

One of the best waterfall in Telangana state of Adilabad district. Best visiting time Mid August.

We were disappointed when we reached as there was no water in the waterfalls. Also this place needs to be developed. Except for taking parking charges there is no other provision here. Could be because there was no water then.

It's 300 km from hyd and highway is really good u have to pay 550 for tolls i would suggest to go up and down on same day... U can spend 3-4 hrs there
