Visit in rainy season when enormous water is there. The scene from picnic MP tourism hotel looks too good in rains. You can enjoy paid adventure sports.

This place is awesome during rainy season.
Otherwise also it's good. I recommend this place for photoshoots. Also in winters kids enjoy this place. Sit near by dam is awesome.

A very beautiful place with fresh breeze being thrown at your face all the time. Best type of weekend getaways with family and friends. And please if you go there do not litter the place by throwing garbage or making a nuisance out of the place, if you don't find a trash can take the trash with you and throw it when you find one climate change is real people.

Located at few kms away from the city, The Dam is a favorite picnic spot & family trip destination.
Truly a Nature's beauty.
You can enjoy few adventurous activity like Zipping ( d zip line is one of the longest in Central India.), Boating, Mountain climbing.
They do have a restaurant inside which serves various Indian, Chinese and Italian platter.
Winters & Rainy are d recommended seasons to visit this place.

Must visit place in Bhopal, it has memories of long drives, picnic with family and friends. If you are looking for some nature bounded place then this must be in the bucket list. Best season to visit here is of course the rainy season, you may get chance to see some small water falls, birds and animals. In winter, you can bring your own basket of food and goodies to enjoy in filtered sunrays. People nowadays are behaving irresponsible by littering with plastics and disposable. Management has to preserve these places.

Although popularly called as a 'Dam' the main attraction is not the dam, rather it is the surrounding Forest. The forest area is so untouched and well maintained for tourists.
The realisation of how close the forest is to the city makes it even more mesmerizing.
I just pray that there should be no more building construction and the place remains untouched like it is now.
One can imagine how good the forest is, if even the king of jungle 'Tiger' is also preferring to live and roam around here.
Yes there's been a lot of news about the roaming of tigers but its still a safe to visit in day light.
It is also the most famous picnic spot, but people must keep in mind to not break the environment by throwing thier waste and left over food around the forest.

Wonderful place to be especially in monsoon. Best time to visit is between 4pm to 6pm, easily accessible route covered with lot of farmhouses. If you are going to park your car inside the MP tourism facility then there will be a ticket fee Rs 10 per person.
