Ram Tekri Temple

Very beautiful and historical temple. This temple was built by Bimbaji Bhonsle, the first Maratha ruler of Chhattisgarh in the 18th century.

Temple is on the hill u can go up on a 4 wheeler too. Views of ratanpur are really looks best from here. Temple is dedicated to lord shri ram.

As per the senior priest, the temple is 400 hundred years old and is very much auspicious 🙏,
beauty of the place was - it was connecting you to yourself...providing all the peace and assurance by just it's presence...
If you are looking for peace of mind you must definitely visit the place.....the place it self does the magic, not just the temple....

Garden in the front of temple is not maintained properly but still it is better

This is a historic temple.. a place where ram ji, Lakshman n Sita ji.. halted for a day when they left Ayodhya for van-vas..

This temple is made by maratha dynasty , the king bimbaji bhosle 👑. He started to build the temple, and his wife anandi Bai finish to build it, here the bimbaji king statue is just right to the ramji statue, basically this temple called " vishram ghar " where ramji,sitaji,laxman ji arrived here and had rest at the time of 14 year vanvash . This is the most beautiful temple who represent the historical period and our great king bimbaji bhosle. 👑 I want to say that once in a time go in this temple. ❤

Situated on a hill, surrounded by greenery is the old temple of Ram Tekri. Ram Tekri is named after the hill on which is the Ram-Janaki mandir with its magnificient granite statues of Lord Ram, Sita and Lord Hanuman. This temple was built by Maratha king Shivaji Rao Bhonsle. Steep but motorable road leads you to this famous temple, which is just about three kms from Ratanpur. The other statues that you can see in this temple are of Lord Vishnu and Kaal Bhairav. This temple has a great historical as well as archeological value. Besides, you can see the panaromic view of the whole Ratanpur township from a single point of view.

Ramtekri Temple is a Temple of Lord Rama, built by Bimbaji Rao Bhonsle the maratha ruler in 17th century.It is on hilltop of Ram Tekri.It is a motorable road up to hill top,so going to the temple is not a problem and the temple,and the view around is awesome!
