Beautiful place of Chhattisgarh, Khutaghat is one of the biggest dam in Chhattisgarh, also a popular tourist attraction here, From Bilaspur city it is almost 71 km, Nd from Ratanpur its just 12 km.

environment is so much good during the October - February season, but the water roaring will be missed although.

Khutaghat Dam comes under one of the famous tourist spots. It is built on bank of Kharang river. If you visit here you will be delighted by the beauty of surrounding forests and hills. It would be even more beautiful in rainy season.

Kutaghat Dam is a unique Dam. This Dam doesn't have gates just some 5feet tall wall at one point to hold water. Whenever water exceeds above this level it flows to the canal linked to nearby villages. One could visit the place and a couple of hours in rainy or winter season.
