Location: It is located at the end of the upper mall road. Busses and cabs are available at the place so transportation is very easy.

Best time to visit: For seeing the sunrising t, you need to visit the place at dusk around 6 in the morning. It is a natural event and thus you need to time yourself well to see it.Sunrise Point in Kasauli is a popular yet a very quiet spot to enjoy the sunrise, pine-laid landscapes, valleys and sceneries. Nearby to the Sunrise point, is a trail or a path known as the Lover's Lane which is an only more quiet walk through the valleys and some of Kasauli's most calm and breath-taking sceneries.

However it is preferable to leave the area before its gets dark or late in the evening, since it tends to be a rather off-beat place with not to many facilities.

You actually can't see the sunrise in Mountain areas because of the high peaks that hinder the sunrise.

For the nature lovers specifically, a clean beautiful colors of morning Ray's could be seen spreading up through the mountains in the sky with the beautiful rise of sun.

This point is very good to visit while visiting Kasauli. The sunrise if worth watching and capturing in a DSLR. The beautiful Chandigarh city can be seen from here on a clear day. Get up early and just run for this place. Worth going in the evening as well.

We spend our entire life looking for heaven, and it was right there in front of my eyes, I couldn't look away even for a second because it felt like if I look away now, I know I'll regret it later.
A great place to go and think about how life is not all bad, it's actually pretty good. Can go with family, Friends or even by yourself. Reach there before 6 am, coz you don't want to miss the beginning of the dawn. Try to carry a professional camera with you, if you can because you're gonna want to capture each and every second there. It's almost a 1 km walk so be prepared.

Amazing view of sunrise. Birds were singing cheerfully. My experience was slightly marred by talkative tourists - let's be courteous to each other and mother nature and enjoy in silence.

Although sunset view is only visible in evening time, but still this place having a special feeling of piace.💐💐

Kasauli has everything that a nature lover needs. One of them is Sunrise point, a place situated on lower mall road. You have to walk thru the serene plush green lower mall road n reach this point. A board is there with a name so no hassle to locate it. A few steps down stairs will take u to the exact point , a hut type structure is also there with a bench to sit incase one wants to sit n enjoy the sun rising. The place has some very picturesque views. You can see a long snow clad Himalayan range with various other ranges and viewing a rising sun in between those ranges is just beyond words.

Kasauli is a cantonment and town, located in Solan district in the Indianstate of Himachal Pradesh. The cantonment was established by the British Raj in 1842 as a Colonial hill station,77 km from Shimla, 65 km from Chandigarh, and 94 km from Ambala Cantt (Haryana), an important Railway Junction of North India.
Kasauli has a moderate climate. Winter temperature is approximately 2 degrees Celsius, with Summer temperatures rarely exceeding 32 degrees Celsius or more. The general wind direction is south-west to north-east. Total rainfall for the year is 1020 millimetres, with humidity at 90% in September and 28% in April.

At a distance of 1.5 km from Kasauli Bus Stand, Sunrise Point is a beautiful viewpoint situated on Lower Mall near Ros Common in Kasauli. This point was formerly called as Hawa Ghar due to the steady air currents throughout the year.

Sunrise point is about 300m from Ros Common. A complete view of sunrise can be experienced from the place. From the sunrise point, visitors can enjoy the panoramic view of the Chandigarh city and the surrounding areas. The rising sun amidst the hills of the Shivalik range adds to the charm of this place.

Beautiful sunrise, but it's totally dependent on the changing weather, specially if you are visiting during June to September period. Way to monki point is too beautiful for a walk with your loved ones but a bit long (3km) for those having health problems. And yes that iconic lovers point too

Very nice place to energies u if u r going on foot till manki point, loved the view here, I wasn't fortunate enough to reach on sunrise time but still the view was dope. Nice place to detox and chill out.

One of the most peacefull and soul soothing places..can be reached within 2 hours from Chandigarh.

Views are awsm..but reach before 5 pm if you want to enjoy the sunset😊

The journey as well the destination is breathtakingly beautiful. Loved it! Just a word of caution: pack a windbreaker and muffler as it is pretty windy there!
