Peaceful place with scenic beauty, it is a lake that connects the two mighty lakes of Udaipur City - Fateh Sagar and pichhola Lake. It has couple of parks alongside it to go sit and relax during sunrise as well as during sunsets. It is in the heart of the city and has some good rooftop restaurants around it and in its vicinity overlooking the lake.

Pichola lake is one of the most beautiful attraction in the lake City of udaipur and often synonymous with the city of udaipur.

Swaroop Sagar Lake also known as Kumharia Talab, this is the artificial lake established by Maharana Swarup Singh and hence named after him. The lake was established during 1842 to 1861. The lake is an artificial water body constructed to prevent the water congestion problem in Udaipur. The lake has got great view , the lake is connected to the Fateh Sagar Lake and the Lake Pichola hence the lake also maintains the water levels in the two connecting rivers. The lake is behind the famous Jagadish Temple of Udaipur.

Swaroop Sagar lake was built by Maharana Swarup Singh of Udaipur during 1842-1861. This lake was built to avoid water congestion, and to balance the water level in the connecting lakes, namely Fateh Sagar Lake and Pichola Lake
Swaroop Sagar lake is located in north-west of Udaipur, adjacent to the Fateh Sagar Lake and Lake Pichola. It is situated behind the Jagdish Temple near Chandpole connecting to Rangsagar. The Swaroop Sagar Lake is approachable by road from the Udaipur City. Visitors can take Local buses, Tongas, auto-rickshaws and taxis to reach Swaroop Sagar. There is no entry ticket levied on a visit to Swaroop Sagar.
