If you have 2 hours and your health allows for average walk then don't took any vehicle (personal or hired) not needed.

You can even touch deer. But please don't try this make them feel free. Don't interrupt in their life.

There are so many animals in the park and there isn't much of the crowd either which makes the whole thing beautiful. The animals seem to be well kept and animals like Tiger, sloth bear, deer, black buck, turtle and various kinds of snakes can be easily seen. (⁠ ⁠◜⁠‿⁠◝⁠ ⁠)

Nice place but very less animals present. Best way to explore in van vihar is to take cycle...and the view of lake is awsmmm... But management and police here are very rude they abuses us 😭

This is most beautiful place in Bhopal for me .on the bank of bhojtal wetland. It's semi zoo with large enclosure for animal's.

Van Vihar is a must to go being in Bhopal. You can find Lion, white tiger, tiger, jackals, various types of snakes, crocodile, wild boar, dears, peacock, monkeys, eagles, etc.
It's also heaven for bird watching as you can see not only native but various types of migrating birds.

It is a beautiful place especially for a morning walk, We visited van vihar on a mild cold day and enjoyed walking while watching some animals and some beautiful birds

Loved it best time to visit early morning or at 4:30 as all beast eat their food at 12 and then sleep or stay at one place and become active at 4:30 pm

If you are living in Bhopal or nearby, this is the best place to visit on holiday or any day. Prefer to visit the park in the morning and in the rainy season. It is a very beautiful place and people from Bhopal love to visit here for a walk or jogging. The park has nice roads and cleanliness. U can visit the park with your bike or by car. U can book a cycle or electric scooter to visit here.

Bhopal is known as the city of lakes and one vihar is also a one prime location. Situated on the corner of bada talab made the king of Bhopal Raja bhoj Parmar ji.

One of the best places with beautiful natural surroundings, I have ever come across. Entry fees are Rs. 20/-. If you want you can rent a bicycle for paying Rs. 20/-, which is recommended as almost 10 km distance needed to cover if one wants to see the entire place. You can get your two wheeler and four wheeler inside by paying some extra fees. When I visited it rained heavily in the morning, so the ambience was so good that it could not be expressed in words. You can keep cycling by enjoying the amazing Lake side on the right hand side and the zoo on the left hand side. No plastic bottles are allowed. Overall it can be said as a gem of the city of bhopal.

Sunrise and sunset is very beautiful near Lake area.
People can bring their childrens to see tigers,leopard lion, turtle ,deer, snakes, birds and crocodile.there is one stage also where lots of kids activities are done to encourage interest among them for forest and wildlife. Separate toilets are also available there .
Very well managed by forest staff ,they are genuinely working there day and night taking care of animals . people can take their own transport after paying on road near to lakes.
