New library of NIT Silchar is the largest digital library of India. The design of this library is very beautiful. At the front there is a statue of APJ Abdul Kalam.
There are many digital books in this library.
The interior of this building is very good and are round in shape. It is fully air conditioned building.

Not so large. Also, books are not that up-to-date. Many times one won't get the desired editions. But, yes there are some good magazine collections to spend time.

Digital Library 😂 Nothing is digital here, even to issue book you have to deposit your library card🤣 very Awful Experience...among 8000 students, very few of them visit library bcz of poor management & rude behaviour of staffs. The management here is very worst....To issue any book you have to visit 4-5 times in library because the staffs are always in rest mode. They don't care about library timing and students valuable time......They have their own time.🤬🤬
