Fine place to visit from Silchar Assam. You can take auto or car, but you have to reserve it... it will take 600 for Auto and 1000-1200 for a car (as on Feb 2018). Plz visit the Doloo Tea Estate also. It is so nice... Beware of little monkeys.. they can take your camera or scratch you...

Wonderful place for summer trip natural scenario with fresh water lake

One of the Extraordinary sunset that I have witnessed from here the environment is calm but on Sunday it remains closed so be careful on choosing a date.

It's a beautiful place. Very friendly for the youngsters. You will see lotus flower in the lake. You can also have an opportunity to ride a boat. I enjoyed at this place. I just took this awesome pic at the same place

Excellent creation of nature. Such a lovely place but saddest part is that place is miserably ignored by the government. We Silcharians always complain that Silchar doesn't have anything for visitors, but if such naturally beautiful places are not recognized by govt then we will never have anything for even local visitors.

The serene nature soothes the bruised machine life. It feels good to just sit there and watch the scenery. The locals are helpful and will often fetch you some water Lilly flowers.

Take some break from your busy schedule and visit this place. The place has a magical power of relieving your soul. Also visit Doloo tea estate, the whole lake is visible from the tea garden.

Awesome experience. Worth visiting at least once and I bet you will want to go again. I went from Silchar and the road and the scenery leading upto this place is itself worth the trip.
Best part is its very quiet and natural beauty at its best.
