Barak Valley Express - The Train Restaurant

Experience is quite legit, as a foodie my first preference goes to the food and the food was very tasty and the portion size was also very nice. Here, we get a large variety of food, simple the MENU is very big. A lot of variety you get on this restaurant. The x-factor of the restaurant is the train 🚂🚋🚃🚋🚃🚋🚃 , on which all the food item were delivered to each table. Taking about the table, each table has its own uniqueness as each table has it own sation name.But there is only problem ie the light is quite dim.......

I didn't expect this train theme in Silchar.. nice decoration, ambiance and best part is food delivery by toy train.. totally enjoyed

Visited this place many times...... The food is amazing.......What i love about this place is that there is no compromise in terms of quality and quantity.....The service is good but can improve.....The train concept is very exciting and exhilarating.......
I am not a huge fan of the ambience......The lights are very dim ....... The menu has a variety of options to choose from..... I also love the presentation and it is budget friendly....

Really nice ambiance. the food is good. Value for money.the staffs have a friendly nature towards their customers. The food on the train is really interesting, but only serves main course on those Trains.

The most important and interesting thing is the name"BARAK VALLEY EXPRESS 🚂"The history of Silchar station is remembered.The atmosphere there is very interesting. I feel a peace , Hospitality and food are excellent. Over all Barak Valley Express is a very fun and peaceful place for me.

I have been to the restaurant twice. The ambience is really great and it provides a nice getaway of sorts from the hustle and bustle of the city noises. Although it is outside the city, but the drive to get there is totally worth it. The food is delicious and the special items on menu are really a treat for the foodies. A special mention to the delivery by train services 😀, that is quite unique and is indeed one of the USPs of the restaurant.

Food was delicious, ambience was great and the staff behavior was extremely good.
Over-all it's a nice place to dine in and spend some quality time with your loved ones.

Bit costly but total value for money with quality service and everything. Nice place to be with family, friend's or any person with a unique concept of operating of the restaurant. Loved the atmosphere❤

New concept restaurent in Silchar. The idea is new and awesome. The place is good about the interiors, and staff behaviour. Food is awesome, tasty and cost effective.
The outside of the restaurent, is well decorated. Visited 5 days before christmass and preparatiin for christ mass decoratiin was already on.
The only downside is they don serve by their train for less value orders. May be lil consevative for running the train frequesntly for frequent downtime/wear out or cost of running the train

The experience of the food coming through train is amazing. One bad thing is that the staff takes excess time like 1h+ to make the dishes

Customer service is great. Polite staff which is a big plus. Innovative ideas. Lots of good spots for taking photos. Overall a great experience.

i went during durga puja so there was delay in service.. i hope they make things better in regular days.. otherwise food is good... ambience is wonderful.. i hope they maintain it..
