Gorakhpur Zoo is very beautifully built and is being operated in a very systematic manner. The greenery will increase once the green trees grow up, a nice place to spend time peacefully.

This place was great . They rescue animals from zoos or places in India . No animals are caught from the wild . The staff is friendly and amazing . They have a white tiger , lion , tiger , rhino and many other animals . Worth a visit if in Gorakhpur .

It is a wonderful zoo. Good for children. Lions, tigers, hyena, rhino, hippo are there. Aquarium and serpentarium are very attractive. 7D theatre is very good. Very neat and clean place with canteen.

Excellent! Great work of the government to provide the experience of the zoo to the people of Gorakhpur and around. Tickets are easy to get and there are electric vehicles available for the tour of the zoo. Cafeteria is also available. There is scope of expansion and to bring new animals. Recommended to visit with kids.

Good zoo, not a very big one as compared to other zoo in India. Lots of animals around the world are here including tiger, lion, leopard, alligator, bear, deer, hyena, hippopotamus, rhinoceros and lots of birds are here. Snake section was also attractive. 7D theatre is so good for fun with family.

The gorakhpur zoo is best as I like animals & here all animals are separately stay in his cage or area . This zoo is very neat & clean . This place is amazing for tour with your friends and family and there infrastructure is decorated and setup where information about every animals is provided when you entered in. All animal statue are made with marble so that peoples easily identify the animals variety and names is also mention .So that's all I really loved & like this place You all must visit here👍

When you are think tour or visit Best place so you can visited Gorakhpur zoo. It is really adorable and nice place and there are many facilities as canteen, staying places, auto facility and many others facilities.
The zoo place is neat and clean.

Great place for education-cum-entertainment. Spacious and engaging.

Very good place to visit a long and wide beautiful landscape along with resturant which is economical and taste is good. There are less animal's in the zoo but landscaping and view compensate for it. Kid's will surely enjoy it along with adults. Best time to visit is either morning or evening because at noon most of the animals are hiding from summer heat. Animals and Birds you will are different types of parrots, Different types of ducks, Sparrow's, Love Birds etc There are various types of deer. There is a Tiger, Bear, Lion, Chittha, Hippo, Crocodile and Alligator, Rhino Etc. There you find exciting snake aquarium with various types of snakes also there is a Fish aquarium too. So overall it's fun place and must visit place 🙂 enjoy

Nice place to hangout. You can visit with your family. Kids will really enjoy here. Only Rs50/ fee.

The place is awesome and animals are fine but the temp right now is very high to visit zoon in noon so avoid in between 12:00 to 16:00 hrs. The serpentine section and loin and tiger and hippos even 🦏 rhinoceros was fabulous. Only section disappointed me is butterfly section it is just a green house effect illustration.

Good place to visit in Gorakhpur. Children will love visiting here.

It's 3rd zoo of U.P. after Lucknow and Kanpur.

Aquarium is good

After three decade long wait with one decade cunstruction period now open for all. A most beautiful zoo and only third of utter pradesh after kanpur and lucknow and first of all with wetland area. Must visit place of Gorakhpur with 7d theatre, butterfly park , snake ghar, aquarium etc.

great experience..all animals are available in chidia Ghar(Zoo).. some animals name are-:peacocks, parrots,royal bengal tiger,lion,panther,deer,beer,snake, butter fly etc...

Thanks to authorities for constructing a very good zoo. It is well planned and well designed. Its a attraction for tourist, local residents and school going children. I appreciate authorities for not allowing plastics in side the zoo that is why it was looking clean.

This is glorious moment for me, I am excited about visit here , it's cool and nice place, but not found as I expected, i am little disappointed... There are not many animals and birds in this zoo, only names have been left in some cages.

Good Effort hy the Government. Good Place to visit though many developments are necessary however we can understand it's first year hence it will get upgraded with time being. Only suggestion is that Refreshment facilities must start at earliest.
