I don't know why is this college considered as a bad college
Maybe because of the students but as per my experience the teachers, the staff, the campus everything is very very good
It is just by the road so u can easily reach there but traffic can be experienced.

Best college and continue improvement's
Sports like cricket,chess, badminton, table tennis, football. Activities like dance , singing , painting, arts and crafts, rangoli competition etc. There is lots of course available for students. Teachers are very good in teaching as well as behavior and helping nature. There are lots of students from different course and different state . Parking area is very big and safe . Hostel , drinking water , canteen, parks , ground , library, auditorium etc facilities also available.

I'm a student of this collage trust me this collage is very nice.. But the collage will treat uh the way uh will treat it... There is nothing wrong here teachers are very friendly but because of distraction of girls and boys this Collage's result is going down...

Very old college in gurugram, i was the student of this college, very lovely memories with this college.The origin of Dronacharya Government College, Gurugram can be traced back to Hindu College at Gujranwala (Pakistan). After partition in the year 1947, it was established at its present location at Gurugram in May 1951 and was rechristened as Dronacharya Sanatan Dharam College. This was the outcome of untiring efforts of Goswami Ganesh Dutt, a renowned Sanatan Dharam Leader and some philanthropists of the district. Its mission was to impart value based higher education, for preparing the youth to aspire the supreme ideals of truth, goodness and beauty(Satyam, Shivam and Sunderam). It was taken over by the Government of Haryana on 14 th January 1980. During its long and glorious history the college has turned out capable administrators, scholars of eminence, famous sportsman and heroes of war and peace. The college has had the proud privilege of receiving dignitaries of national and international stature like Dr. Rajender Prashad , Dr. S. Radahakrishnan, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Lady Mountbatton , Smt. Vijaylaxmi Pandit, Field Marshal K.M. Kariappa, Gen. J.K. Bhonsle and Literary luminaries like Dr. Hazari Prashad Dwiwedi , Dr. Girija Kumar Mathur , Dr. Namwar Singh, Sh. Jaitender Kumar Jain, Dr. Harivanshrai Bachhan and many other as guest of honour on its various functions.

Presently located in the heart of city between old Railway road and new Railway road which serves as two arteries of the city , the college sprawls on 16 acre of prime land enfolding spacious building comprising old and new science blocks, arts block, commerce block and new teaching block . It also has an auditorium, a big conference hall, well – equipped labs, a rich library, a Computer centre, a botanical garden and a well furnished Girls Hostel. Apart from these the college also has extensive playground for outdoor games and facility for indoor games.

Since its inception five decads ago, the college has witnessed growth in both numbers and achievements. From a mere 368 students in the year 1976, the strength has risen to a massive 7000 in the current year. In addition the college has on its roll 2000 students in distance education programme and 1600 students in IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) study centre.

I took admission here in 2019-2020 batch on the basis of merit list....
But due to COVID pandemic all college from there shut down by the ministry of education.....

But believe me if you are going to studying only at these place....then best reputed college ever and ever in all feilds....

One of the most prestigious college of Gurugram...but sometimes hard to find taxi here beacuse of it's two gaits..as the back gait is closed...

Good college for all kind if courses. Undergraduate and post graduate courses are available here. Old private college , later on taken over by the Government.
