Well living in PG in Mumbai is fun & cheap but one has to be dependent on either tiffin service or bhojanalayas serving thalis. I was ordering tiffin for my dinner till 2 days back but recently I discovered this placed named Rajasthani Bhojanalaya situated on the road to the left side of Hotel Siesta. It’s clean and well neated. Thalis are priced at ₹120 but it’s worth every rupee. 1st day Thali had 3 Missi Roti, Paneer Shimla Mirch, chawli ki sabzi, bottle gourd, dal, papad, fruit custard, salad, 2 types of chutney and a glass of butter milk. Today it was mix of roti and puri, paneer bhurji, rajma masala, Kundru bhujiya, dal, papad, salad and pineapple sheera with pineapple fruit pieces. Not only I had more than my regular diet, but took an extra bowl of paneer bhurji which costed ₹10 a bowl. It’s a limited thali which is more than enough for just 1 person. So we generally share a thali between 2 people. All items in the thali is of the optimum quality. Also, if u want a smaller meal, you can have 3 chapati and sabzi bowl of a choice for ₹70.

For vegetarians and those looking for home style, non oily, non much spicy food, this place can be a very good option.

The staff are very friendly. Meal prices are not much high, the quality and quantity of food is good.

If you are looking for a vegetarian and home style meal, this place is a good option. The Thali was full of flavors and variety, with 3 Sabzi, Dal, Rotis or Parathas, Rice, Salad, Aloo Vada or Mirchi Vada, Papad and a Sweet. The price was affordable for the quality and quantity of food. I also enjoyed the Dal Baati Churma on Sunday, which was a traditional dish. The service was quick and polite. I liked this place a lot.
