Great place to spend peaceful time. Great lake view and cool Breeze. Must try the kolhapuri bhel and other chat options. I tried a special bhel which was really good. You can get all types of food options such as Chinese, chat, faludas , milk shakes, tandoors , pav bhaji and many more.
I also tried faluda which was decent in taste. I sat there for some time as it was really calm . Try to visit during odd hours you may find less crowds. Especially during weekdays it's really less crowded so you can easily find some place for yourself and spend some peaceful time. You can either read a book, eat something from there or just stare at continuously moving waves of the Lake.
I visited during August last week when it's not too rainy nor too cloudy . I also tried the boat ride which was worth spending for sure. I took dolphin ride for 2 people.

This is much visited place in Kolhapur city. Rankala gives you positive vibe. Chowpati also located here. Every age group human can enjoy this lake. You get multiple option here to spend your time.
If you dont get parking space, then just go to Dmart which is opposite to chowpati and park your vehicle ther and enjoy your time😂

A peaceful place.... If u are around kolhapur visit here for sure for some inner peace... Clear water... Not tooo much pollution... Well maintained.... Ppl here can be seen fishing because of fishes in this fresh water lake.... Great for hanging out for sometime...

Great hangout lake place to be there and spend time with family anytime. Specifically starting from east-north-west side of the rankala. Where starting from east that is sandhyamath to see beaty of rankala lake then slowly move towards north side where all street side eating shops are located (recommend to try pridarshani vada and kolhapuri special bhel). Then move towards west side of rankala to have some water side fun and activities. But crowded some busy times but if you go during week days, it would be quick and easy with fun to be around. Must place to visit while in Kolhapur. Best luck..

It is just like Marine Drive of Mumbai. Everyone comes here for relaxation. There is children play area which is super affordable.

Parking has to be done by the roadside, with no entry fee. Just sit , relax, and enjoy the sunset view.

Good lake to chill at evenings with family

Wow. Like it was so beautiful. Boating experience was very good . You can do boating at a low cost as like 50rs per person for half a hour. Even you will get all types of street food too. Great taste i recommend to try pav bhaji and spring potato. Like is safe as it has wall .

Amazing place with scenery with lake view and you can do boating also which costs around starting with 75 per person with group boating and 2 seater with 150- 200 rs around and 4 seater around 250rs
