Four years back i had a multiple fractures in my ankle, back then Dr Kamal Dureja did my surgery and imlpanted a plate and few screws. The surgery went very well and also the recovery rate was very good. In every visit  Dr. Dureja  paid full attention  and did all the procedures like redressings of injury , removal of stitches,  x rays  very calmly and gently . This year I got these implants removed. And as before i am fully satisfied with the whole procedure. He took every precautions nd complete care during  and after the process. I highly recommend him.

I had an ankle pain in my left leg since two years. Even after consulting with a few top Foot and Ankle specialist in Mumbai, Ahmedabad ,Jaipur my pain got no relief. They suggested a surgery of more than three hours based on fusion of my ankle by which I will lose one of my movement forever.
Then I found Dr Kamal Dureja through Google. I met him and he also suggested a surgery by just realigning my toe bone without disturbing any of my movement. The surgery was conducted for just 70 minutes. I got plaster for a month with minimum stitches then walked through walker for three weeks and air walk shoe for another three weeks and finally got relief in my pain for ever.
I want to thank my doctor from the bottom of my heart. He is the best doctor in India. He suggests minimum surgery with maximum benefits to the patient. He is an amazing person, very polite and helpful. He treats his patients very nicely as well as explains every thing about the procedure before undergoing the surgery.

Dr. Kamal Dureja sir is an exceptional clinician, a patient listener and a superb surgeon. I am not a patient but an orthopedic surgeon who trained under him for the past 6 months. The learning I underwent has completely changed my outlook and approach. His experience as a foot and ankle surgeon spans from complex acute as well as neglected trauma, foot and ankle fusions, complex deformity corrections to latest innovations in foot and ankle arthroscopy and ligament repairs. I would recommend him to any one who needs high quality foot and ankle care.

I first consulted Dr. Dureja in 2017 for my ankle that was in bad shape with multiple issues resulting from sports injuries over years. The main problems were an ocd lesion of talus (cartilage loss) and ankle instability due to multiple sprains. But I also had a tight calf muscle, pain in achilles tendon and underside of foot. He patiently worked to understand the issues I faced and also what my needs were from treatment. I wanted to be able to run again without pain and had already tried conservative treatment for two years. Given this history and my needs, Dr. Dureja recommended microfracture with ATFL repair surgery, which helps patients greatly with symptom relief if all other measures have failed. He does not lightly recommend surgery but also makes sure that the advice is in the patients’ best interests. But before I could get the surgery, I moved to the UK in 2017.

Dr. Dureja explained that I could seek treatment in the UK or could come back to India to get surgery when I was able to. The UK system was not friendly or helpful at all despite paying a lot for the National Health Insurance, so I finally managed to get this surgery done in 2021 with Dr. Dureja. The results of the surgery have already been great – my ankle is no longer unstable, I do not have pain when running and Dr. Dureja is helping with other pathologies such as the tight calf muscle also. Even beyond a successful surgery, he very kindly helped to manage logistics of surgery in the middle of the pandemic, when I did not have any loved ones in Delhi. He is not content to sit on his laurels either, pursuing world-leading cutting-edge research in his field with much smaller budgets than western contemporaries. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Dureja and recommend him whole-heartedly for any foot and ankle related problems.

My mother had broken bones in both left arm and right leg at the same time. Also the mishap happened at the time of COVID pandemic.
Dr. Dureja not only helped my mother in getting the best surgery but also he assured that our family doesn't become a victim of corona.
Dr. Kamal didnot let us just go by post the surgery but continuously after the surgery as well he is guiding us and giving the necessary medications and physiotherapy that are beneficial for my mother. I am one of the patient of Dr. Kamal Dureja and from past few months I am visiting him for my lower back treatment and sciatica pain. I could have never been so content. So Before him, I was being treated by one of the nearest ortho doctor since my disc bulge happened during covid-19 lockdown phase(can’t reveal his name for obvious reasons) I started my treatment with him and kept visiting him for almost 1.5 months. The medicines which were given by him, one can't buy those medicines from a local pharmacy as they are not available anywhere else in the market.
I had no issues paying doctors fee for every visit or buying medicines from anywhere but as a patient i should see some improvement which was not happening in my case instead I got some adverse effects from his medicines. I was completely in despair and dismay.

NOTE: Please don't visit such money minting doctors who play with people's health.

Then my father advised me to consult Dr. Kamal Dureja once. I visited him and he listened to all of my problems patiently and treated me just like his own family member. Dr. Kamal Dureja is an experienced doctor who has immense knowledge, he guided me so well about my disc bulge and sciatica pain and gave me a clear picture that this will go away in a few weeks and without giving me tons of medicines unlike the former one.

In these COVID times we preferred Dr. Dureja’s Clinic over other bigger hospitals and I would say this was a difficult decision taken by us for operating my 82 year old mother for an ankle surgery but my mother was most comfortable and happy due to the care taken by Dr. Dureja and his wife as well as his staff. She could come home within two days of the difficult surgery performed by Dr. Dureja.I would say he is one of the best doctor for ankle surgery
